Bandon Hotels with Wi-Fi

The next town over, Coos Bay, was completely lacking power, so I cancelled room and had to find another one further south since I was headed back to SF area. Bandon Inn fit me in to what they called a smaller room, but which was fine for a solo traveler. It was clean and had a partial bay view. A quick pathway down to Old Town for dinner. Only complaint is that the breakfast could have been better - a take-away bag, although you could eat it in the lobby area. I would have wanted a hot breakfast.

It is about 5 minutes drive from the face rock attraction. The environment is good, the small yard is also very good, the opposite is the seaside, the parking lot is free parking, breakfast lasts until 10 o'clock, and the variety is suitable for family travel.

Starting with the good, the pool and hot tub were very nice. Hot tub is deep and roomy and the area was clean. The shower was big and had nice pressure. They had lots of helpful things like shampoo and coffee maker in the room. It’s also two doors down from a nice restaurant that we walked to for dinner. We had the bldg. across the street from the ocean and didn’t realize that, since it’s called ‘oceanfront’ so be careful which bldg. you get because no one told us there were multiple. We settled in and then went for a walk. No one told us we shouldn’t lock the door as it locks automatically so we ended up locking ourselves out. That would’ve been helpful knowledge to be given. The room itself was quite big. But I’m a germ freak so the cob webs and crumbs visible under the dresser upset me. There were also stains on the rug and box spring so I think those should be replaced. Could at least hide them with a dust ruffle or mattress cover. Then a bad thing… There’s no AC - which I don’t understand for a hotel at the beach. But it was September so we could just open a window for air, right? Wrong. Because there weren’t any screens! So it was a bit uncomfortable.
