When I arrived late afternoon the bungalows (the resort) were mostly deserted and didn't look all that appealing. The hotel, on the other hand, was rather busy so I opted to stay in it. The hotel is rather basic and utilitarian. A typical Asian style budget hotel, it's set up to accommodate extended-stay guests. The room was comfortable enough and the linen and towels appeared to be new. The airconditioning and hot water worked well. There was a large refrigerator in the room, typical of Thai apartments. In fact, all the furniture was cheap house-hold stuff. The hotel is perfectly acceptable for a night or two and I might have given it 4 out of 5 on the TripAdvisor scale if it were not for the price. At a walk-in rate of 650 THB (including breakfast), I thought it was slightly overpriced.
