The staff in the hotel is the best. They help us a lot with all the problems that you have the first days in India.
Breakfast is quite good.

Clean rooms. Hot water issues in the room. Quality of water is also an issue. F&b is a disaster. Restaurant service and quality of food leaves much to be desired. However overall the hotel is decent value for money.

My wife and i wanted a good place to spend one night before heading back to our home. We wanted a place which was at the heart of the city and monarch was at a great location. We stayed in club royal room. Pros: we had a good night's rest. The staffs were polite. We had to go early next morning and the restaurant was not going to be opened then. However, they fixed two bowls of takeaway mixed fruits. It was a great gesture and we appreciate it. Since we did not stay for more than a night, we didn't get a chance to experience the food. Cons: the window curtain was not working. It needs to be fixed. I was expecting a bath tub as shown in the pictures bit did not get one. But it was not a big complain. The touch screen on the elevator did not work well, even after following the touch like a feather. Verdict: needs improvement, but over all, a great place to stay. We would come back.

The room was neat and cozy. The quality of the food and the coffee from the room service was excellent. The staff working there were very helpful too. The lighting in the room could be improved as i felt that the room was a bit dark even with all the lights switched on.
