Stayed at Chatrium Riverside Bangkok and absolutely loved it. The river view from the balcony was stunning, and the room was spacious and spotless. Staff were friendly and the free boat to the icon siam made getting around easy. Breakfast was great with lots of choices. A peaceful escape from the city buzz — would stay again!

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Matria 18 My recent stay at Matria 18 was simply outstanding, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the staff is dedicated to providing an exceptional guest experience. The check-in was smooth and efficient, and the receptionists were welcoming and helpful, answering all my questions with a genuine smile. This level of service continued throughout my entire stay, from the friendly bellboys who were always ready to assist to the meticulous housekeeper who kept my room spotless. The room itself was a highlight. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to rest and recharge after a day of exploring. I also really appreciated the useful kitchenette, which was equipped with everything I needed to prepare simple meals and snacks. It made my stay feel more like a home away from home and was a fantastic convenience. Another major plus is the hotel's strategic location. Being so close to both the BTS and MRT stations made getting around the city incredibly easy and stress-free. I was able to access all the major attractions and business districts with no hassle, which saved me a lot of time and money on transportation. Overall, the combination of a comfortable room, a fantastic location, and a team of dedicated staff truly made my trip a memorable one. Matria 18 isn't just a place to sleep; it's a place where you're genuinely cared for. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Although the hotel is not located in the most central area, my stay at Chatrium Sathon Bangkok was truly enjoyable. The property is very comfortable, exceptionally clean, and the service from the staff was excellent—always attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide selection of dishes including Halal offerings, which made it even more special. What stood out most was how well the hotel handled a minor lapse—the fridge in the room had not been cleaned or replenished. The management responded promptly and even offered me a complimentary room upgrade, which turned the experience into something memorable and greatly appreciated. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Chatrium Sathon Bangkok delivers wonderful comfort, warm hospitality, and thoughtful service that makes it well worth returning to.

Excellent location, spacious rooms, no special services, except for a slightly odd visit at 10 AM on check-out day to collect any dry cleaning clothes. While drinks in the refrigerator are complimentary, they weren't refilled daily during my three-night stay; in fact, they were never refilled during my four-day, three-night stay. Medium-sized towels are provided daily, but not replenished the following day. Again, strangely, there are only two bottles of drinking water per day; I had to contact customer service to get more. I saw a kettle, so I might need to boil water myself.

Revised Review of Our Family Stay at Maitria Hotel Rama 9 Bangkok – August 2025 Our family stayed at Maitria Hotel Rama 9 Bangkok in August 2025, and we found it a solid choice for its price, especially for first-time visitors using Bangkok as a transit point. The location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions. The property, a mix of hotel and residences, includes multilevel parking, a nice pool, a well-equipped fitness room, and a pleasant green garden. Our family room was comfortable and spacious, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a storage room, and a balcony. The staff was exceptionally polite and professional, making our stay welcoming. However, there were notable issues with the plumbing. The mixer and multi-head shower in the bathroom were not functioning well, impacting our comfort. Additionally, the sewerage system lacked a check valve, resulting in a persistent unpleasant stench. The glass partitions in the bathrooms also showed dark, sticky dirt buildup, which could be addressed with more frequent deep cleaning, especially given the humid climate. With improvements to the plumbing and regular maintenance, Maitria could be outstanding. Still, its location, amenities, and excellent staff make it a good option, and we’d consider returning.
