BEAT. Warii Hostel @ Chaophraya River

The neighborhood is awful, smells like fish. I think even the taxi driver was scared when he arrived. This was my first time in a hostel. The bedding was clean, the air inside was fresh, and the staff were polite. I asked for an early check-in, and they accommodated me without extra charge because I really needed to sleep. It was comfortable to sleep, and there were no drunkards or unruly people, just young and decent guests. A bed for one night cost 500 rubles, which is perfect just for sleeping.

Overall, it was a pretty good experience. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, so I had to climb six flights of stairs, which was quite a workout. Also, the air conditioning was turned off for a few hours, which wasn't ideal. However, the common areas were great, and you could see the sunset over the Chao Phraya River.

The facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

I had a very satisfying stay here. The hostel environment was clean and tidy, the common areas were spacious and comfortable, and the beds were very clean, so I slept soundly. The staff were warm and friendly, check-in was quick, and they patiently answered all my questions. The location is convenient, with easy access to dining and transportation. It offers great value for money, has a relaxed atmosphere, and I met many friends from different places. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance and will recommend it to other travelers.

The accommodation was spotless. Both the room and the bathroom exceeded my expectations, and the floor in the bedroom was comfortable for sleeping, not too cramped. The surroundings were lovely, with a cool breeze by the Chao Phraya River. For the price, it was excellent value for money. I'll definitely be back!
