BEAT. Warii Hostel @ Chaophraya River

The hostel is very modern and generally clean. The staff are very accommodating. The bed I was assigned to had a broken towel rack and ants around the bed and the staff immediately agreed to switch beds for me. While there were fewer ants at the new bed, there was a baby cockroach running around the locker portion of the bed. It was late and my last night when I saw the cockroach so I didn't bother asking for a change but I do think better pest control could be something the hostel should look into.

Hey ! I’ve been cycling from France to Bangkok and this hostel was secure to leave my bike and go visit the city. The staff where young people curious about traveling, funny and helpful ! What’s awesome is the view on the River. It make the place very quiet, peaceful and Relax ! Thanks Beat Warii Team !

BEAT. Warii Hostel at Chaophraya River is perfect for travelers seeking a modern, vibrant, and reasonably priced hostel near Bangkok’s iconic river scene. It excels in comfort, cleanliness, ambiance, and an unforgettable riverside vibe. If you value style, convenience, and social atmosphere—and don’t mind capsule living—it’s a top-notch choice. However, if walk-in accessibility or ultra-conservative guest policies are a priority, you might want to review room placement or consider alternative stays.

This Hostel is just wonderful - excellent value for its great location which is both scenic, calming and provides terrific access to boats, trains and buses and is in an area with less hectic traffic. It has a basketball court, in-house cafe, lockers for valuables and shoes, laundry and iron, tons of co-working and leisure space to chill and work, modern and comfy beds with blinds for privacy, baggage storage areas and tourist info provided , hot spacious showers with body and hair wash provided and toothpaste always available at basins with hand wash. Towels are provided and bed linen cleaned every few days. No refundable deposits required. The fishy smells outside create an authentic atmosphere, but when you inside the Hostel it is all about space and pleasant smells. The friendly and helpful staff are also a real bonus. For what you pay and the location you are staying, this place cannot be BEAT!!!

Excellent location, convenience store nearby, safe to walk back at night, night market nearby, great local eateries nearby, clean and comfortable.

For $8 hostel bed, might be ok. But for $49 room, not worthy at all. No lift, you have to carry your luggage to 5th floor. OMG. A tall female staff helped to carry the luggage on the check-in, but when check-out, the staff /different girl/ rudely refused to assist. The floor is not clean, but you have to remove the shoes when go up. Rooms not recommended for this difficult accessibility.
