Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square

The hotel's location for the Songkran main venue was excellent, and the service was great. The free Nespresso capsules were a nice touch. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. It's super convenient for shopping, dining, and sightseeing!

Got a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room and a late checkout until 2 PM (subject to availability). The staff were very friendly, and the hotel's location is excellent, right near the shopping district. The facilities are also well-equipped.

Overall, considering its location, this hotel is pretty good. For a holiday stay at an international hotel, it definitely offers good value for money. Right outside, you have a mall and the BTS skytrain, a Starbucks across the street, and a 7-Eleven just around the corner. The service was decent too; communication in both Chinese and English was seamless. The room was reasonably clean and met four-star standards, comparable to a Ramada in China. The soundproofing, however, was poor. I could hear loud motorcycles from downstairs, as well as noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms. One particular issue was the power switches: they seemed to be wired incorrectly, as the lights in my room would turn on or off when someone in the next room used their switches. The wiring definitely needs to be checked. The elevator was under maintenance during my entire stay, which made it very noisy during the day. Also, the pool table on the first floor was still marked "out of service," which was quite disappointing.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room size is good. It's very clean, and the service is incredibly welcoming. My friend, who I was traveling with, also really liked this hotel. Highly recommend!
