Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit

This was our first time staying at this hotel. As we took the BTS and walked to the hotel, just as we turned onto the driveway and were pushing our luggage halfway up the slope—with a bit more of an incline still ahead before the entrance—a hotel staff member saw us and immediately ran out to help. Even though it wasn't a long distance, seeing that really touched us. It's rare nowadays to find hotel staff who would do that; most of them would just pretend not to see. The Korean female receptionist who checked us in was also very friendly and quick-witted. The hotel felt very clean and well-kept, featuring both floor mats and fitted carpets. Originally, we only booked for one night to check out the room before deciding whether to extend our stay for a few more days. The hotel's location is truly very convenient! 👍🏼👍🏼

The hotel room was very nice, the bathtub was relatively large, and the cleanliness was good. It featured a wet and dry separation layout in the bathroom, and the room itself was quite spacious. I had a very satisfying stay experience and will definitely come back again next time!

The hotel's location is excellent, with several shopping malls nearby. It's a five-minute walk to the subway and light rail. I wouldn't recommend taking a taxi during peak hours as the entrance gets very congested. The hotel service is very attentive; the staff consistently tidied up our messy belongings perfectly. The breakfast selection isn't vast, but the quality is good. It might get a bit repetitive if you stay for many days as only two options rotate, but it's perfectly fine for two or three days.

Excellent! The hotel's rooftop bar is definitely worth a visit in the evening; its decor and scenic views add a special touch to the stay. The breakfast spread is also very rich, catering to diverse preferences.

My experience at Carlton this time was truly satisfying, the service deserves a big thumbs up! We arrived at the hotel early, and the front desk staff were very kind and helped us check in as quickly as possible. Since we had to wait a bit for our room, we took the opportunity to try the hotel's English afternoon tea, which was of a very good standard. When we went up to our room after tea, our luggage had already been delivered – very thoughtful. The biggest surprise was when we wanted to delay our check-out a little; the hotel was very happy to accommodate us, and the whole process was very smooth. The only minor quibble is that the location is right between two BTS stations. Walking there is fine usually, but it can be a bit inconvenient if it's raining heavily. However, the overall service and environment are superb. The minor flaw doesn't overshadow the excellence, definitely worth 5 stars! I'll stay here again next time!

Drawbacks: For a hotel of this caliber, the cleanliness was just average. The towels were damaged, and despite tipping and explicitly asking for new towels and sheets during my three-night stay, they were never replaced. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. The room was spacious, and the location was very close to the EM district, much better than T21. Calling a taxi was also convenient, and there were many reputable massage chains downstairs, like Thai Thai and Let's Relax, which was a big plus. Overall, I was satisfied and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok.
