This hotel does not merit its 5 star rating.
Facilities and decor was old and lacking maintenance.
The swimming pool was not clean with water standard being very poor, to the point that we felt it was not healthy to use. Definitely nothing like the pictures on the Trip site. Other facilities such as Gym & Sauna were either not available or not working.
Room furniture was dated and incomplete.(see picture)
550 BHT is very expensive for breakfast.!
Staff were polite.

The hotel is super clean, located in a well known area of the city and near the city BTS and metro.

To be consistently improving is almost unheard of in the hotel industry, Royal Benja 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 gets better everytime I visit it. The legendary staff I know personally over the years are all still there, which is an excellent sign of a great Hotel

Hotel location is great. Located in a South Asian community environment. Not recommended for families with children. It's a lively place in the evening with girls marketing for services and outlets that are not recommended. Good for bachelors / young couples seeking to be in a great location near BTS station and budget conscious. Breakfast in the hotel is acceptable only. Nothing fancy. Hotel is old and has a musty smell. If you can afford to go to Bangkok, I suggest spending a little more on accommodation away from Sukhumvit Soi 3 - Soi 11

The hotel is in the middle of the busy area of Nana but the vibes are subtle and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay at Royal Benja hotel, Bangkok. It is value for money. Location is great, lot of eateries and other activities are nearby.

The room was spotless, with fully adjustable lighting, very comfortable beds, and plenty of space. It is a pity that the exterior windows are not cleaned more frequently, as this slightly detracts from the otherwise beautiful view. It is also unfortunate that the swimming pool closes quite early; as I was exploring the city during the day, I did not have the opportunity to enjoy it.
The welcome was very pleasant, and the parking area is large and convenient. We were traveling with a large van, and the security staff was very understanding and accommodating.
