I stayed here again after a year and it's still a great experience. The staff are all very friendly and polite. I booked a suite but found that some floors' suites didn't have a washing machine. I asked if I could switch to a room with one, and the front desk immediately agreed! The room was clean, tidy, and had no strange odors; it was spotless. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday until 11 AM is a huge plus... They have hot waffles, which my kids loved! There's also a food court under the MRT station right by the entrance... very convenient for getting around!

Excellent hotel, great value for money. There's a night market about a 15-minute walk away, or a 4-minute drive. Big C supermarket is right next door. It takes about 25 minutes to get to the city center and roughly 15-20 minutes to BKK airport, which is very convenient.

My overall experience at this hotel was excellent. The check-in process was quick and efficient, handled by friendly front desk staff who provided great service. The room was clean and comfortable with a well-designed layout. The bed was soft and provided a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was spotless and bright with a full set of amenities. The overall environment was very relaxing. All in-room facilities, including the air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV, worked perfectly, and I encountered no issues during my stay. The hotel's public facilities were also very well-maintained. Whether it was the restaurant, gym, or lounge areas, you could tell they put a lot of effort into their operations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh food, catering to different guests' needs. Moreover, the hotel boasts a convenient location, close to transport links and commercial areas, making it ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or business trips. All in all, this stay left me with a wonderful impression. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but the staff were also professional and enthusiastic, making for a very pleasant experience. If I have the chance to visit this area again in the future, I would definitely choose this hotel again and recommend it to my friends and family.

The facilities were kept clean, and the reception and cleaning staff were very kind! There were three shower rooms and three toilets each for women, and they were cleaned frequently. The shower rooms had shampoo and body soap. There was also one hairdryer in the vanity area. The room had a locker large enough to fit a carry-on size bag, and another locker at the head of the bed for valuables, both of which could be locked, which was reassuring. I brought a converter from Japan for the outlets, but it wasn't necessary. There were two outlets by the bed, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The laundry room was on the 3rd floor, and I could hang my washed clothes there to dry. Since it's a well-ventilated indoor space, my laundry wouldn't get wet even during a squall. The fish market is nearby, so I noticed a slight fishy smell until I got to the hostel, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay! I'm glad I chose to stay here!

The hotel's location is pretty good. There's a convenience store downstairs, and about 500 meters south, you'll find a large shopping mall and a night market. To the north, there are all Chinese restaurants. The room itself is quite spacious. Compared to hotels in China, the decor is a bit dated, but it's very clean and the bed is large and comfortable. The front desk staff can provide basic Chinese service, so checking in was easy. The breakfast spread is also quite rich. It might be a little far from the main attractions, though.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect, right on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, offering lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also provides a complimentary boat shuttle service to the nearest pier, making it incredibly convenient to explore IconSiam, WatArun, WatPho, Asiatique etc. Hotel has an outstanding hospitality. Every member of the staff—from the bell attendants and reception team to the housekeeping staff, are warm, courteous, professional, and always eager to help. We even got a complimentary upgrade from a Deluxe Premium Room to a Suite, which made our stay even more memorable. The suite was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. Breakfast got a huge variety to offer. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious stay with exceptional service in Bangkok. As an NRI zipping between Hong Kong and Bangkok for work, I needed a hassle-free spot with easy access to shopping, dining, and BTS— this nailed it. Location (5/5): Smack in Sukhumvit's heart, it's a 1-min walk to Emsphere's trendy shops, cinemas, and food scene. BTS Phrom Phong is 5 mins away, making airport runs and city jaunts effortless. No taxi drama in Bangkok traffic! Room & Comfort (4.5/5): My superior room was spotless, modern, and spacious for solo use— king bed was plush, blackout curtains ensured deep sleep despite city buzz. Huge bathroom with rain shower and amenities felt luxurious. Minor nitpick: AC was a tad noisy at night, but earplugs fixed it. Free Wi-Fi was speedy for my work calls. Service & Facilities (4/5): Staff were warm and efficient—check-in was instant, and they upgraded my view gratis. Gym and pool on the 8th floor offered stunning skyline vistas; poolside was quiet for solo unwinding. Breakfast buffet was solid (fresh Thai/Western options), but could use more variety for repeat stays. Value (4.5/5): At ~THB 4,500/night (booked via app), it's a steal for the location and IHG perks. Addressed to Jon Warmington, the General Manager I recently stayed at Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium room 842 from 27 May to 1 June and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience. First and foremost, I would like to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The hotel, facilities, and the majority of the team members provided excellent service, and overall I had a pleasant experience. In fact, I am not the type of guest who frequently raises complaints. During my travels, I spend very little time in my hotel room. Most of my day is spent outside the property, and my interaction with the hotel is generally limited to breakfast and sleeping. As such, it takes a significant issue for me to feel compelled to formally raise a concern. The first issue relates to breakfast. During my stay, I invited a Muslim friend to join me for breakfast. He entered the restaurant with me but did not consume any food because he was unable to find suitable options that met his dietary requirements. While I acknowledge that I did not raise this directly with the restaurant team at the time, I was surprised when Reception later informed me that they had verified that my friend had taken breakfast. From my perspective, entering the restaurant should not automatically be considered as consuming breakfast when no food was actually taken. Nevertheless, I have decided to let this matter rest and move on. The second issue is far more serious and is the primary reason for this email. On my final night at the hotel, I was expecting a visitor. However, Reception did not contact me to verify whether I was expecting anyone before allowing my visitor access to the guest floors. Instead, my visitor was simply directed to my room and arrived at my door unannounced. Having worked within the Accor group for approximately 15 years as a Duty Manager in Singapore, I am very familiar with hotel operational procedures, guest privacy standards, and security protocols. It has always been my understanding that when a visitor arrives for an in-house guest, Reception should first contact the guest to obtain authorization before granting access to the room floors. While my visitor was indeed expected on this occasion, Reception had no way of knowing that without contacting me first. Had the visitor not been known to me, this could have resulted in a serious security and privacy issue. In my professional opinion, allowing a visitor direct access to a guest room without prior verification is unacceptable and falls short of the standards expected from an Accor property. What further disappointed me was the handling of the matter after I raised my concern. I wish to be clear that I am not seeking compensation of any kind. My concern is not financial. Rather, I expect an appropriate resolution and acknowledgement of the seriousness of the issue. Simply being told ”sorry” was not sufficient given the nature of the security lapse. The alternatives presented to me by the Night Manager were also, in my view, unreasonable. One option was for me to move to another room on my final night. Considering that I was due to check out the following morning, I found this solution impractical and disruptive. Being asked to pack my belongings and relocate because of an issue that was not caused by me did not seem to be an appropriate resolution. I was also informed that a Reception Manager would speak with me. However, I was unable to wait indefinitely for the manager's arrival. As a guest who was raising a legitimate concern, I do not believe I should have been expected to delay my evening plans or remain available for an uncertain period of time. Furthermore, I was scheduled to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM the next morning in order to arrive at the airport early for my flight. For these reasons, I felt that the issue was not properly addressed during my stay, which is why I am bringing it directly to your attention. I am raising this matter not only as a guest but also

The absolute highlight of this hotel is the room comfort! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a subtle, pleasant scent, and it was clear the environment was meticulously clean and tidy, with not a speck of dust or any strange odors. I especially have to praise their bed and bedding; the firmness was absolutely perfect, offering both a comfortable embrace and ample support. It allowed me to sleep soundly until morning, making it hard to even want to get out of bed. If you're as picky as I am about whether 'the bed is comfortable and the room is clean,' you definitely won't be disappointed with this place.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Cons The rooms are very outdated. Furniture, walls, corners, and the bathroom show visible wear and damage. The rooms clearly need renovation. The photos on the listing do not reflect the current condition of the rooms. They look much newer than they actually are. A stove was listed as an amenity, but in reality it was not usable — it was covered with a fixed wooden panel and could not be opened. There is no tea or coffee in the room, despite a coffee machine being shown in the photos. Tea is available at the reception during daytime only. The air conditioner is very noisy. It is controlled via a wall panel (no remote control) with limited settings, and even on the lowest mode the noise is noticeable. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, so steam stays in the room after showering unless the door is opened. The TV offers only Thai channels. There is no Smart TV and no option to connect a phone. The kitchen area has a sink, cabinets, and basic dishes, but it is not functional due to the lack of a stove. Despite cleaning, the room looks visually worn because of the overall condition of the walls and ceiling. Pros The bed is comfortable, with two pillows per person. Clean bed linen. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure. The room includes a new hairdryer, a refrigerator, dishes, and cutlery. There is a balcony facing the courtyard, where smoking is allowed. The staff were polite and helpful. The receptionist spoke good English and explained everything clearly, and the housekeeping staff were also very friendly. The hotel provides a golf cart shuttle to nearby shopping malls. The location is convenient, close to M-Sphere, Emporium, and the M District, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. Overall Suitable for a short stay of one night. The main drawback is the outdated rooms and mismatch with the photos. Кондиционер шумный, работает без переносного пульта, управление осуществляется с настенного блока с ограниченным количеством режимов. Даже на минимальном режиме шум заметный. В туалете нет вытяжки, после душа пар остаётся в комнате, уходит только при открытой двери. Телевизор показывает только тайские каналы, Smart TV отсутствует, подключение телефона невозможно. Кухонная зона оборудована раковиной, шкафчиками и посудой, но нефункциональна из-за отсутствия плиты. Из-за общего износа поверхностей номер визуально выглядит неаккуратно, несмотря на уборку. Плюсы Удобная кровать, по две подушки на человека. Чистое постельное бельё. Ванная комната была чистой, хороший напор воды. В номере есть новый фен, холодильник, посуда и столовые приборы. Есть балкон, выходящий во двор, на котором можно курить. Вежливый и отзывчивый персонал: девушка на ресепшене хорошо говорит по-английски и подробно всё объясняет, горничные также оставили приятное впечатление. Предоставляется гольф-кар трансфер до ближайших торговых центров. Удобное расположение рядом с M-Sphere, Emporium и M-кварталом, что было основной причиной выбора отеля. Итог Подходит для краткой остановки на одну ночь. Основной минус — сильно устаревшие номера и несоответствие фотографиям. Расположение и персонал — сильные стороны отеля.
