Room cleanliness was excellent, Reception very helpful, Leisure centre Facility and staff top class. Did not dine in Hotel but Breakfast buffet was above average

Lovely stay at the Maritime hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. Lovely big swimming pool 19mtrs. Had great night sleep, in extremely comfortable bed.

Couldn’t fault the hotel on everything you’d normally expect from a hotel. But! And this is major… I was woken by two people coming into my room at 3:10 am! Thankfully they left immediately when they realised that there was someone already in the room. It was the hotel’s fault- they had given keys to an already occupied room. But! I had double locked the door (I’m very safety conscious) and their keycard still opened it! The next day the front desk were apologetic and said that maintenance would look at it. Later I tested it (with me inside double locking it and a friend trying it from the outside) and door still opened! I got virtually no sleep during my stay! And a bottle of wine definitely doesn’t recompense for that! Disappointed! And be careful ladies!!

We stayed for 2 nights recently due to attending a family wedding in the area, the hotel is big, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, located in the centre of bantry, good parking, breakfast was excellent, a beautiful selection and all very fresh, staff very nice and friendly too

Stayed as a group of 28. Great experience. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, special mention to the reception staff who made no issue whatsoever when we had to ammend the booking at check-in. Meal in the restaurant was perfect and the rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. Great value for such a nce hotel. Location is excellent, just a few mins walk from the town centre.

Gorgeous room, huge bed, great view of the harbour and lovely staff. Nespresso machine. Hotel was impressive with a lot of different areas and lovely plush wallpaper and corridors. Breakfast was good too. Free parking was trickier to find, but we parked outside and then got advised the parking was under the hotel, which we then moved the car to, so no bother. The local area was pretty quiet, but we made use of the pool and the hotel bar. NOTE - the pool requires swim caps which you have to buy if you didn't know.

Not happy at all with our stay, bedding was horrible hard pillows heavy duvet and uncomfortable mattress. I had the worst nights sleep. Don't eat in the bar food was shocking I ordered Brie Starter it came with yellow salad it was bought in and not made from scratch. My partner ordered BLT not what he wanted but ate it anyway. Poor quality for the price. Next day we tried the breakfast all poor quality fry goods very small selection and shocking coffee. I really don't have much positive to say. Leisure centre needs a complete uplift tiles and mosaics damaged in the steam not what a guest wants to see at all. Overall I would not like to stay here again. I hope the GM takes all these comments on board. I would not want another guest paying good money for these standards.

On entry reception staff were very helpful and all staff remained so throughout our visit. We were playing bridge and staff helped us with setting up a suitable table on both days of our stay. The hotel was warm and comfy cold, wet days.
