Been here quite a few times , can not fault it , from the grounds which are kept so well the scenery , the hotel is immaculate, lots of different areas to relax , the spa is amazing, the staff are all so helpful and friendly, the little touches which make this hotel extra special, the rose petals the swans made from towels , the happy anniversary at dinner with sweets , the confetti on table so lovely , this is our favourite hotel to spend a weekend 10/10

What a fabulous hotel! The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have done more. We were a party of 15 celebrating a special birthday. From the ladies on reception to the dining staff we were made to feel special. Nothing was too much. The food was stunning, the lovely grounds and beautiful rooms would make us all visit again. Thank you

Booked a day Spa - when arrived was shown around, but later realised I wasn’t shown the gym. Tried ice coffee, late & flat white throughout the day - all tasted much the same, but just in different cups. When using the pool there was a discarded plaster stuck to the tile on the pool side. Asked if there was a sofa area, as had planned on relaxing a little and reading a book, but there wasn’t any sofas - just upright to get comfy on. All sounds possibly petty but I paid £150 for the pleasure and felt disappointed that it wasn’t as relaxing or as plush as I had hoped.

Lovely little spa hotel. Had the best massage and facial. So relaxing. Every member of staff I encountered were lovely and helpful. Nice little breakfast in the morning.

We stayed for an evening, the facilities are nice, definitely needs more beds around the pool. The treatments were amazing and fantastic value which I highly recommend. It’s more an older couples retreat than for kids and thankfully we were an older couple.

Excellent service from start to finish. Everywhere is very clean and our room was beautiful. The spa facilities are excellent. To be able to pick up the phone poolside and order drinks which were promptly delivered was an added bonus. Thank you to all the staff at Hempstead House we will be returning soon.

Comfortable well appointed room. Has grown to quite a large hotel but retains a feeling of a small country house particularly in the old building. Nice pool & sauna facilities. Good breakfast included.

Just enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast at a charming Kent-based independent hotel! The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the ambiance delightful. A perfect start to the day! The hotel is beautiful, the decor is lovely and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely and the spa facilities are great. The staff are absolutely fabulous, all of the brasserie staff and the receptionist were all so accommodating and made us feel so at home, we had a small dog and they made sure we always had somewhere dog friendly to sit and they couldn’t do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. The halloumi salad is also very very good!
