Beautiful Bed and Breakfast, staff was so friendly. Gourmet breakfast, cookies mid day. Would definitely return. Parking a bit tight but well worth it. Walking distance to the city central. Beds so comfortable and very accommodating. Would definitely return

Beautiful B&B. Julianne was a wonderful host! We had treats for the evening & a fantastic breakfast cooked fresh in the morning. We had a couple of options to choose from on the breakfast menu & were made as we ordered. Comfy beds & had a peaceful sleep. Thank you for the wonderful stay. 😊

What a super B & B. I am usually a hotel guy, but options are limited at Bar Harbor. This was my first B & B stay and I am very impressed, On arrival I was great by Caroline, cookies and treats were out. The home was very clean, and my room was perfect, the towels and sheets were so soft. Saturday morning breakfast was incredible, the best fritata I have ever had, simply delicious, and their coffee is so good! I met Juliana the primary host on Saturday, and she is a gracious host. She answered several questions and gave me several options on the Bar Harbor restaurants. Sunday Breakfast was a breakfast casserole that was delicious. I had the perfect weekend in Bar Harbor, Hearthside Inn was a big part of that.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s right next to downtown, perfect location. We stayed in the off season so it was much quieter. The staff was SO FRIENDLY! The breakfast and afternoon treats were very tasty. They made our anniversary trip so special :)

Loved everything about this property! Location is amazing. Completely walkable to everything in town even with the colder weather in late November. The service was great - we even got upgraded to a nicer room since it was empty for that weekend! The food options for breakfast and tea time were great. Casserole, waffles, fruit, cookies, muffins, a mousse dish - more than I would’ve ever expected. Room was perfectly clean and beautifully decorated. We had complete control of the heat which was great. Only downside was that the heater was only in the room and there was not one in the bathroom so that got a little cold due to the 30 degree weather outside but otherwise was the perfect stay.
