Bar Harbor Villager Motel - Downtown

The room was beautifully set, clean with the spacious comforts of home. Loved the quite setting. The continental breakfast was delicious.

Convenient to downtown Bar Harbor. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very quiet. Efficient and friendly staff. Great breakfast.!

Location is great-near shopping, eats,and outdoor music. Very limited parking in BarHarbor so walking a must. Rooms so clean, bathroom new and spotless. Beds comfy. We did not hear a peep from neighboring rooms. I asked for vacuum to shrink/seal items -they brought right up. Breakfast very very good. Entire facility environmentally conscious.

Reasonably priced motel with great customer service, clean and great breakfast. My husband and I visited just before the season started so we did not experience Bar Harbor with a lot of people. The motel is in a great location and is in walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. Easy access to restaurants and shops. The staff is accommodating to your needs and has multiple options for cleaning staff to clean your room everyday or just drop off what you need to replace items you may have used. Has one charger if you have an EV. It is not free, but does not cost a lot to use. Coffee, juices and water refills available all day. There were multiple options for breakfast ranging from a variety of fruit, yogurt parfait (make your own), avocado toast with many toppings, sausage and eggs and muffins (these were very tasty). They had seating indoors and outdoors. There was also a pool but not open because it was still pretty chilly outside. Would highly recommend this motel for your stay in Bar Harbor.

This was a true gem!!! We absolutely had a wonderful time. We stayed for 3 nights in two rooms. The rooms were very clean and updated. The bathrooms were beautiful and included wonderful bathroom accessories. The staff was welcoming, accommodating and so helpful. The property was in an excellent location, walkable to everything in town and an easy ride to Acadia. Our favorite part was Richard who greeted us so warmly every day for a wonderful breakfast that included an assor**ent of cheeses, meats, yogurts with various fruit and granola toppings, avocado toast bar, fresh scrambled eggs , sausage and coffees/tea and juices. We had such a great experience and can’t wait to return.

We had a King room which was very clean and comfortable. The toiletries were high-end (Bath and Body Works) and the breakfast was great with yogurt, fresh bread, and a meat and cheese board. I have stayed here 3 times and every time I am very impressed with the staff. The location is about 2 blocks from the center of town.

Wonderful location . walk out in either direction to restaurants, shops and close to waterfront. For being on Main Street very quiet. All staff was wonderful. very helpful with any questions we had CJ the manager did all possible to make our stay perfect. Breakfast was way better than expected. This trip was a birthday present for my daughter and it was wonderful. I highly recommend Bar Harbor Villager Motel. Chris G.

The location was perfect, just a few blocks from the ocean. JC checked us in and was WONDERFUL. He was helpful, gave us recommendations and patiently answered our questions. Breakfast was a perk. We expected continental (cold - cereal etc) and had a hot meal (the gals preparing breakfast were sweet). Another bonus, we were allowed to park in the lot before our check-in time. Thank you for being so kind!

The Bar Harbor Villager was absolutely wonderful! The staff were super nice and informative. The main parking lot was pretty full when I arrived, but the front desk staff assured me there would be plenty of parking and if I was unable to find a spot to come back in and talk to them. Thankfully I was able to find one, but I loved how helpful and friendly they were. The room was very clean and modern. The shampoo and soap were even Bath & Body Works brand! Breakfast was simple - granola bars, muffins, coffee, bananas - but I went and got breakfast in town so it was perfect for something to hold me over. My favorite part of this motel was how walkable it was to literally everything in downtown Bar Harbor! It really felt like home. I was able to come back to the room and drop stuff off or take a power nap, then head right back out and explore the town. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Bar Harbor that’s more budget-friendly without sacrificing distance to town, I HIGHLY recommend the Bar Harbor Villager!
