AAnonymous UserAfter an impressive and highly satisfactory stay at the Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu last time, I decided to book two nights at the Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur.
First off, the staff at the entrance, who helped with luggage and opened doors, were all very welcoming. What I liked most was that every staff member greeted us warmly, and the lemon water in the lobby was delicious, as were the candies.
However, the breakfast offered very little for Chinese guests; the only edible item was the dumplings. It was a far cry from the breakfast at Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu. Additionally, we were given a low-floor room. The Ctrip booking page stated floors 3-18, but we were only given the 4th floor. Being street-facing, the motorbikes at night were incredibly noisy, and the soundproofing was extremely poor – we could hear conversations, doors opening, and footsteps from next door very clearly. I didn't get to experience the pool, but the view was decent.

WWye YiStaying at Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur in a KLCC view room was nothing short of unforgettable. Waking up to the breathtaking sight of the Petronas Twin Towers right outside the window feels almost surreal—especially as the city slowly comes alive in the morning light and transforms into a sparkling skyline at night.
The room itself strikes a perfect balance between comfort and sophistication. Floor-to-ceiling windows truly make the most of the iconic view, while the bed is plush and inviting, making it hard to leave. Every detail—from the lighting ambiance to the well-designed bathroom—adds to a sense of understated luxury.
One of the standout highlights is the seamless access to KLCC Park and the surrounding area, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re out for a leisurely stroll or exploring the heart of the city. And of course, a visit to SkyBar is a must—the view of the towers from there is simply next level.
Service throughout the stay was warm, attentive, and efficient, elevating the entire experience even further. Whether you’re visiting Kuala Lumpur for the first time or returning for another stay, this is one of those places that never fails to impress.
A stay here isn’t just about the room—it’s about experiencing Kuala Lumpur from one of its most iconic vantage points.

AAnonymous UserPillows a little worn out , too softy, needing new replacement. Check in & out was a breeze. In room dining menu is limited in variety and price fixed high across all foods. Ordered a medium size non meat pizza and it cost nearly Rm100 during working hrs. Buffet dinner was limited in variety and quality below expectation for the higher mother day dinner buffet. Discount 10% only for my adult 2 kids to join dinner. Enjoyed the unagi at dinner, lamb roast too undercook pink for me. On the other hand, Room view of the city was fabulous. They provide 1 pump out lotion at the room wash basin instead of soapy foam, which is kinda odd.

FfirstSoloWas given a room on the 20th floor. Window has City view facing the Klang River. Windows cannot be opened, but that's OK. The curtains are motorised, so you can open close them from your bed, which is a nice touch. There's a sofa in the room too, long enough to lie in, as a day bed. Electric kettle allows you to make tea/coffee whenever you want. There's no bottle water as filtered water is available in the room. They give you a glass jug to collect your drinking water from the tap in the bathroom.
I liked the toiletries given. Have nice smell. Botanical inspired.
Water pressure is good and I also liked the quick hot water response when the tap is turned on. The air con thermostat worked well so I was very comfortable in the room. Almost didn't want to leave. :)
The room for improvement would be more entertainment selection on TV. It only has the TV channels, cnn, BBC, cna, and axn programmes. Not much choices for movies/series. Would be good if we could sign in to Netflix in the room.
Also, I had difficulty connecting to my telcom in the room. Not sure if it was the fault of my roaming service or that the room was well insulated from the service signals, but when I turned on the WiFi, it was OK. Only problem was that I felt insecure using the public WiFi.
The hotel is joined to a mall. The eateries were sufficient to give a variety. There's also a supermarket at the basement 1, which you can stock up on the snacks in the room. It also has a laundry service, but I think the hotel's laundry service is more efficient where you can collect your clothes back the next day if you send them in before 10am the day before.
In all, I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Will come back again. Hopefully I would have settled my Bonvoy membership by then.
GGuest UserLocation: It's about a 10-minute walk to Pavilion. There are small restaurants across the street downstairs, but no convenience stores and no Twin Towers night view. However, taking a taxi to various attractions in the city isn't too far.
Facilities: It's quite old, but well-maintained. The room is tiny, really minuscule; I couldn't even open my suitcase. I booked an executive room, but was told I couldn't access the executive lounge, which I don't understand why...
Cleanliness: Decent, up to five-star hotel standards.
Ambiance: The lobby is noisy and crowded, and the check-in queue was a bit chaotic.
Breakfast: Not good, with very few options that cater to Chinese tastes. The variety is extremely limited, and the air conditioning is freezing!
Service: Not many staff speak Chinese; it's pretty much standard five-star hotel service.
Summary: The room is very small, hygiene is generally okay, breakfast isn't tasty, and there's no night view from the room. It's suitable for people who just need a place to sleep at night.

JJawshiiStayed here for a night as a driving pitstop. First off, great location. No comments on it seeing that it is very near to Pavillion and KLCC. But one thing to note is that the hotel is inside the Intermark building, as such, utilization of the lifts is extremely pain-staking as the employees of the business buildings and the other commuters would be using it as well. I personally have to wait roughly 5 minutes for the lifts to reach me on average for accessing my car at the basement carparks. On a clearer side, the Hotel gave us their legendary Cookies upon checking in😍🥰 That clearly lofted the mood for a bit. Room was great. Beddings and lavatory are immaculate:) The breakfast was super bountiful! I highly recommend to give it a try during your stays in the future. All in all, if you’re not driving, then the establishment is highly recommended. 👍

GGuest UserBooked a two-bedroom Twin Towers suite, and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent soundproofing of the executive apartment, along with service standards on par with a star-rated hotel. After looking into the group, I found out it's a well-established chain.
I accidentally left an item behind in the hotel. When I went back the same day to retrieve it, the concierge staff, especially AMIERAL, was incredibly helpful and patient in assisting me to find it. My sincere thanks to them!
Given its fantastic location and suitability for family and parent-child vacations, I'll definitely be returning to stay here in the future. I highly recommend it for families with children nearing adulthood or those with two children.
The view is absolutely stunning, offering an unobstructed panorama of both the Twin Towers, the tallest building, and the TV tower from a single suite.

Very Good
GGuest UserWhen I arrived on the first night, it was late, and the hotel front desk didn't speak Chinese. However, using Doubao and the order, I managed to check in smoothly. But the room was really bad and old. The air conditioning was an old model, giving it a vintage feel, and there were even dirty stains on the bed sheets. At that moment, I just wanted to leave. Being in a foreign place and not speaking English, I endured it. It was severely inconsistent with the pictures. I wanted to book another hotel and contacted Ctrip, staying up all night communicating with them, hoping to get some refund so I could book a different hotel. The communication was difficult for a long time, but then the next day at noon, a front desk staff member who spoke Chinese helped us change rooms, which finally resolved the issue. A higher floor would be a bit better, and if it had been renovated, it would have been more normal. It was worse than hotels costing over 200 yuan in China. I had breakfast for all 3 days, and only ate it once because it was just okay. In short, during the day, having a Chinese-speaking front desk made communication easier, and the room they gave us after we talked to the hotel was acceptable. Everyone, if you're booking a room type, definitely choose a slightly more expensive one. Don't go for the cheap ones, otherwise it will be a nightmare. The location is good though.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe location is excellent, with a large shopping mall right downstairs. The monorail is also conveniently located just below. It's only a few minutes' walk to the food street. The room is quite spacious. Before booking, I read reviews mentioning issues with hot water taking a long time to come on. Initially, I also waited 30 minutes without hot water. The hotel didn't explain this clearly. There's a switch on the wall outside the bathroom (see photo); hot water only comes 15 minutes after pressing it. I recommend pressing this switch as soon as you check in and get to your room. Breakfast is vegetarian. The downside is that there's very loud prayer chanting starting around 5 AM, which might disturb light sleepers. Also, this hotel has over 40 floors, and my floor alone has 22 rooms. There are six elevators in total, but you might still have to wait a bit sometimes, especially during peak hours.
AAlbertkanshijieFacilities: The hotel feels relatively new. I stayed in a suite which had a washing machine, fridge, and microwave, making it a pretty good deal.
Hygiene: You can request daily cleaning.
Environment: It's in a very bustling, central downtown location.
Service: It took a long time for someone to pick up when I called the front desk.
