Great
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Independence Palace and Ho Chi Minh Central Post Office, both about a 5-minute walk away. There are good restaurant options nearby, and if you want to take a city tour bus, you can catch it right in front of the post office. The hotel ambiance is great, with a vintage yet modern decor. The hotel's cleanliness is also commendable. For breakfast, they offer both Vietnamese local specialties and Western options. All hotel staff can speak English. If you'd like to see the traditional Vietnamese water puppet show, you can turn right out of the hotel and walk straight for about 10 minutes to the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater.
GGuest UserAmazing stay at Silverland May Hotel
I had an amazing stay at Silverland May Hotel and honestly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. The facilities were excellent, the rooms were even better than I expected, and the beds were super comfortable which made a big difference after long days exploring.
The rooftop pool area was a highlight, with the sandy flooring giving it a unique feel and a great atmosphere to relax. The restaurant was always clean, the food was consistently great, and the overall presentation of the hotel was impressive.
What stood out most was the staff. Everyone made me feel genuinely welcome, they were attentive throughout my stay, and towards the end of my trip they even helped organise my airport transfer which made things so much easier.
Overall, I’d rate my stay 9.5/10.
The only small feedback I’d give is that the swimming pool could have been a little warmer. That said, it is an open rooftop pool and it had rained that morning, so that may have affected the temperature.
I definitely stay here again.
Special mention to An, Dephia for his outstanding service in helping me with my stay and experience. Well done.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at Fusion Suites Saigon. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is in a convenient location with easy access to many attractions and cafes. The staff were courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ho Chi Minh City

JJacqueline MerrittThe location is good, the room is very clean. The service is good too. I am happy with all of this.
What made me unhappy and inconvenient, the reasons I gave two stars for amenties are as follows:
1) toilet - clean yes, but the water pump is top strong and inconvenient to press, feel like I am pressing a broken handle water pump.
2) trash bin - in the toilet, it is difficult to push down the cover, too strong, so always ended up touching my hand with the cover where most of the trashed from the toilet were in contact with while pushing down. In the room, the cover, always need to use hands to remove the cover.
3) Electricity plug sockets - should have at least two free, one each by each bed. But what we had to use is the one for TV plug, the one for night light bulb (between the bed). Only one free socket by the mirror in the bedroom. So very inconvenience for two persons to charge our phones or laptops.

AAli ShifaazMy brother and his wife stayed at La Vela Saigon Hotel for their honeymoon, and they had an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
The rooftop pool and city views were breathtaking, especially at night. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere made their honeymoon feel extra special and memorable.
Thank you to the entire team at La Vela Saigon Hotel for making their trip to Ho Chi Minh City so wonderful. Highly recommended for couples and honeymooners!
KKuailedeyimituanziThe hotel boasts standard 5-star facilities, a beautiful and clean environment, and fairly new amenities. The staff provided good service, and its location near Japan Street was convenient. We opted for a river-view room and were able to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks from there. On check-out day, after discussing, we were unable to get a late check-out until 2 PM.
We checked in on New Year's Eve, and there was live music set up right downstairs. The hotel's soundproofing isn't great, and the party went on until almost 1 AM locally (2 AM back home for us). When I called the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do (which I suppose is true), but it was genuinely noisy that night, and I didn't get to sleep until very late.
Bbkb2481. 16sq. mtr room is marketed and sold as a 20sq.mtr room. Its basically a glorified/polished container box. There is no space even to unpack/open your luggage. This is outright fraud and cheating.
2. Air conditioning is very poor. Despite such a small room size, it takes nearly an hour for the room to reach the set temperature even if you open the door even once. The staff too has confirmed the same that it takes 30min to 1hour to reach the desired cooling after closing the room doors.
3. Air conditioning break downs frequently. We had booked 17 rooms for our a group of 34 people. 3 to 4 had broken AC. One of them shifted in the middle of the night to a new room. On complaining the first time, the engineer came and fixed the filter. However the staff blamed us for keeping the door open. On complaining again, I was assured that the staff if coming only to realize that they were lying. Had to go physically to the reception and get the room changed. They were hoping that I would sleep with the broken AC instead of taking the pain to come down to the reception. On top of that the windows don't open. You don't have any ventilation as well.
3. The doors and walls are very thin. You can hear every door closing and even the slightest noise/conversation from nearby rooms.
4. The staff is very cold and unhelpful. Despite acknowledging the known problem about the AC they try to blame the guest for keeping the doors open. How is the guest supposed to breathe with no AC and no ventilation? If you are frustrated and get angry at the staff, they threaten you to throw you out of the hotel in the middle of the night by calling the police.
5. The windows are completely transparent. The nearby bldg people can peep in to your rooms anytime and hence the curtains need to be kept drawn all the time.
6. I am vegetarian so didn't find much options in breakfast. There were some fruits but they would get finished fast and then not refilled even during valid breakfast hours.
When I checked reviews of this hotel after facing the above problems, multiple guests have reported the same issues.
AAnonymous UserRoom is big, over-looking the walking park and opposite the cafe apartment. Breakfast covers a wide variety and some of the menu changes daily. Walking distance to the river, opera house, Takashimaya mall, Saigon Square... Hotel staff is friendly and always smiling. Please note there a short flight of stairs to the lobby from the pavement but the hotel staff is ready to help.

MMerissaTravelsI stayed at Au Lac Legend Hotel and found the location very convenient, with most attractions within walking distance. The rooftop pool, lounge deck, and midday tea were nice highlights, and the front desk was helpful with organizing tours. The price meets expectations for what you get.
However, the service was disappointing. It often took multiple requests for drinks, table cleanup at breakfast, and even room cleaning, and the staff seemed overworked. I also booked two rooms with windows, but neither room actually had one.
GGuest UserThis luxury condo, part of the VIN chain, felt very modern and had a great atmosphere. There's a large shopping mall conveniently located nearby, offering international cuisine, an ice-skating rink, and a park, all within walking distance. However, the mall and restaurants close at 10 PM, and there aren't any street food stalls, so it's a good idea to plan your dinner ahead of time.
I was a bit concerned because I heard short-term rentals were prohibited, but this place has 24-hour staff who escort you to your room via the elevator. It was a little confusing at first, but once we got used to it, everything went smoothly without any issues.
However, the room we stayed in (Landmark L4 on the 43rd floor) honestly felt a bit neglected maintenance-wise. The showerhead holder was broken, some tiles were lifting and cracked, and the caulking around the kitchen sink had mold. I also felt that the overall cleanliness could have been better.
The staff were very kind, and their WhatsApp responses were quick and helpful. Thank you, Thuong! As I'm looking for a place to live in Vietnam in the future, it was great to experience VIN Homes.
My recommendation would be to contact them before arrival to arrange a meeting point and time for a smoother check-in. Also, it might be easier to spot the elevator escort staff if they wore more noticeable uniforms. That way, you wouldn't have to send multiple messages late at night.
