I have total booked 5 rooms, and eventually there are problem occur in 2 rooms.
One room come with an insect (start with C) at the mini bar and another one full of dust on the table which you can’t believe it can happen to a 5 stars hotel.
Well, we got a free upgraded on the dusk room. The hotel did offer for a room change to the room with insect, but my friends were too tired to moving to another room since they have unpacked their stuff, they just requested to clean the mini bar, then it is no compensation at all after we decline first offer. We have tried talk to the front desk manager for few times and eventually we managed to fought RM100 of f&b voucher. This suggestion was initially not accepted when we proposed, reason given was they have no authority on the f&b dept.
The staffs problem solving skill is truly disappointed, front desk staffs are not friendly either.
The cleanliness is really a big concern as I found the stain on the hand towel in the upgraded room. Dusk and follow by stain towel, it is very basic mistake not suppose happen to the luxury hotel.
That was a heavy raining at night, the corridor back to the superior room building was wet and splash with the rain water. Guess what, we have to wait for the rain stop to walk back. No action taken by the hotel to ensure the guest can safely back to the room whenever they need.
Same to the corridor at the premier room area, it was wet and not mopping service is given, whose responsibility if anyone falling down as our group are with kids and senior citizen.
I do like the sea view, the architecture, the private beach, the spacious room, but the service are really not up to the expectation, which graded as 5 stars.
