It is the most decent hotel in this trip. The room was big enough and the environment was good, but there was a little cockroach crawling onto the bed at night. The hotel has free parking, and you can park anywhere in the village for free. French breakfast, open-air restaurant, more comfortable. It is recommended to have breakfast at the hotel, as there is no place to eat outside. The hotel is right on the edge of the Fontainebleau Forest. It was very comfortable to walk around after breakfast.

Fantastisk hotel i den smukkeste by, Barbizon. Deres brunch er ud over det sædvanlige og Fôret Fountainbleau ligger lige i baghaven. SKØNT!

restaurant réservé le 5 juin pour déjeuner . Obligation de déjeuner dehors alors qu' il y avait un vent frais et un risque de pluie . Pas de service à l intérieur , car un seul serveur !!! Nous décidons donc de quitter ce restaurant , le patron est furieux et nous indique qu' il y a d autres restaurants à Barbizon , je confirme , et l accueil est beaucoup plus chaleureux , donc si vous souhaitez déjeuner ou diner , une seule consigne : EVITER LE RESTAURANT DU BAS BREAU

Vorremmo dare più stelle perché il posto è incantevole, l’albergo dal fuori (un vecchio capanno di caccia) è veramente bello, ma i proprietari dovrebbero farsi delle serie domande sulla cura e la manutenzione dei dettagli della camera. Abbiamo soggiornato nell’unica junior suite. Bella. Spaziosa. Travi a vista. Camera e bagno puliti. Ma poi… Lampada sul comodino traballante, seconda presa non funzionante. Macchinetta del caffè e bollitore senza zucchero, bustine del tè inesistenti, solo due bustine di caffè. Le posate erano in cassaforte! I rotolanti esterni non chiudono bene. I curtesy set in bagno? Inesistenti. La doccia è in una stato pietoso, domina il calcare. Ciabattine e accappatoio? Abbiamo dovuto richiederli. L’aria condizionata che non funziona con tanto di notifica sullo schermo ‘necessità pulizia’. E poi, per chiudere la tendina della finestra nel tetto si deve salire su una seggiolina traballante stile Louis XV. Tendina non in buono stato che deve essere tenuta chiusa con un gancio fatto do it yourself! Colazione servita in camera : vassoio e cestino del pane privi di un qualsiasi tipo di centrino/salvietta… Viaggiamo davvero moltissimo. 4 e 5* sono nella norma ma ci capitano anche 3*. Ma una cura per il dettaglio inesistente come qui non l’abbiamo mai vista! È davvero un peccato perché ripeto: il posto è incantevole e vale la pena soggiornarci anche perché Barbizon è deliziosa e vale la pena visitarla. Siamo ripartiti delusi e non ci torneremo!

Séjour très agréable dans une chambre double deluxe vraiment grande avec de jolis meubles.
Très proche de la foret et en plein centre ville pour visiter à pied "le village des peintres"

Ce lieu rempli de charme vous déconnecte totalement de la vie quotidienne. La qualité de l’accueil est parfaite. Notre chambre au confort idéal nous maintient dans l’authenticité du lieu et du village de Barbizon. Avec les premiers rayons de soleil, il faut profiter de la terrasse pour prendre un verre ou pour manger, des jardins et de la très belle piscine. Il ne faut surtout pas rater la table du restaurant. Des plats servis copieusement avec une grande finesse et un grand respect des produits locaux utilisés. Bref, lieu à découvrir ou à redécouvrir. Nous, nous y reviendrons assurément.

Les employés de cet hôtel ont quasiment séquestré mes beaux parents octogénaires en les empêchant de quitter l'hôtel alors que leur séjour devait être réglé sous forme de bon cadeau (que j'avais proposé de payer a l'avance ce que l'hôtel avait refusé). De plus les personnes présentes ont été au delà de désagréables et même menaçantes. Ma demande d'explication n'a jamais obtenu la moindre réponse. (Je ne doute pas que cet avis fera l'objet dune réponse niant totalement la réalité des faits, compte tenu de la mauvaise foi que je viens d'expérimenter avec cet établissement) Sur le fond la prestation est totalement décalée par rapport au prix (chambre vétuste et à la propreté douteuse, dîner au restaurant lunaire : la sole est a 60 euros ... les vins hors de prix .... on n'est pas dans un restaurant étoilé ni en plein Paris pourtant ....) Le Bas Breau a vraiment perdu de son lustre et tout ce qui faisait son charme. Si vous n'aimez pas vous faire arnaquer et mal traiter ..... Fuyez !
