I really don't recommend it. It's too noisy. There's nothing to eat. The hotel charges unfairly everywhere. They even charge 2 more bottles of water. The front desk service attitude is poor. I booked a room but was downgraded without permission. It's also troublesome to check in late at night.

The hotel is in a great location, public transportation is very convenient, the front desk staff is warm and polite, the hotel is very clean, very quiet at night, and the soundproofing is very good. I highly recommend it.

Got there by taxi. There are also places to eat nearby.
Both travel and business trips are acceptable.

Great central location for the old town by the Catedral. Lovely room. Continental breakfast was ok for a quick morning bite to eat. But have had better!

An absolute diamond of a hotel, location is fantastic.
Amenities are fabulous, rooms are spotless and cleaned daily.
Staff are lovely and very happy and helpful.
Would highly recommend.
Will definitely be returning.

We booked a room for June - but then managed to move it to May - it was not possible, so we canceled - the 4 nights. Despite the cancellation, the hotel has deducted all the money from the card - and they will not refund or at least give us the nights at another time.

A delightful stay at Hotel Barcelona Catedral!
Our recent stay at Hotel Barcelona Catedral was fantastic! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel's central location made it easy to navigate the city, with metro stations conveniently nearby.
The breakfast buffet was exceptional, offering a wide variety of delicious options. One staff member, whose name I regrettably never caught, went above and beyond by noticing our preference for the Kellogg's Country Store muesli. She kindly surprised us with a few packets to take with us! This personalized service and attentiveness to detail are exactly what elevate a hotel stay. It's clear the staff at Hotel Barcelona Catedral truly cares about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
We sadly did not find this cereal in any of the grocery store to take back to NYC . This is only produced in Europe . None the less a great stay!
We were there from March 18th to 21st, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona.
