The hostal was in a wonderful building right off the Gran Via and as with other hostals, the front desk was only manned until 11:30pm. The room offered a small balcony with the advisory to eat only in these areas and not in the room. The beddings and towels provided seemed clean with lotion, shampoo, body wash, and liquid soap offered in the bathrooms. The bathroom did not seem clean for me as traces of black mold were found in the shower area. I slipped at least four times while taking a shower in the shower area with no grab bars to hold on to. The water pressure was wonderful and the hostal offered hot and cold water. There was a common room for guests to use the microwave, coffee, and vending machine. To my surprise, the hostal offered silverware upon request. We were instructed on how to use the app Staymyway to enter the facilities: building, reception area, and the room which was straight forward for those used to the digital platform and challenging for older generations. The elevator for the building fits six people.

Todo iba muy bien, Manolo fue una muy buena persona y amable al recibirnos, el chico de la mañana un portugués igual muy amables, pero la segunda noche fue bastante molesta que el chavo que estaba en la recepción desde las 9 hasta las 12:30am estuvo hablando casi gritando y no dejaba descansar, queríamos dormirnos temprano por eso llegamos a las 8 pm y vaya que no pudimos dormir si no hasta pasada la 1 de la madrugada, porque la persona que estaba yo en recepción junto con alguien más, parecían que querían que todo mundo se enterara de su plática y por eso gritaban casi casi.
