Petit Palace Boqueria Garden

Its location is very good and the reception staff are friendly. And the price worth it. But the room is a little bit cold.

One of the only places with a four person room for a family in the downtown area, we were very excited at the idea of this hotel. It was lovely upon initial glance, beautiful gardens and a lovely breakfast nook. Quickly, however, things went south. Our room was sub par for what we paid, moldy grates, holes in the wall, dirty corners, a sink that wouldn’t fully plug, despite asking housekeeping to fix it. We were all immediately sneezing and found heaps of dust under the beds. Housekeeping was very eager to get in and get the job done, which made us feel rushed. They also moved our things wherever they pleased to make the beds, not returning objects as they were. We head to Madrid tomorrow to stay in the other Petit Palace. Hoping we won’t find the same outdated rooms. The silver lining was the lovely staff in the breakfast nook, including what seemed to be the manager, who was absolutely delightful, catering to our every need and offering separate pancakes or omelets. In addition, the staff made us sandwiches to take to Montserrat, baking fresh bread. The breakfast was exceptional. Could be a great spot but rooms need updating and proper cleaning for that price.

Rooms was a little warn down but the hotel garden, location, Alicia and team was top notch...first class

Excellent hotel 3 blocks from Metro and close to many attractions, restaurants, etc. The staff is amazing! Special thanks to Marisa, Alicia, Janar, Pedro, and Bou. Well appointed rooms with A/C. Elevator and beautiful outside sitting area, hidden garden, breakfast buffet, and onsite restaurant open noon until 10pm.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect both for walking around in the city and for accessing the metro. The hotel itself is like a small oasis in the busy city. The garden is very cosy and offers a nice place to relax with food and drink. The rooms are nice and clean and I enjoyed the tiny balcony looking down at the narrow street in the old city. In addition the staff was amazing. Every single one of them. They were friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome during my entire stay. Would definatly stay here again.
