The sound proofing of the rooms needs to be addressed but this is a very good hotel in a very good location with super helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location, two blocks from Plaza Catalunya and the airport bus drop off, walking distance to the gothic quarter and several of the key sights and interesting areas, restaurants and shops, and very close to at least 4 metro stations and numerous local buses. Hotel itself is nicely decorated and keeps a vibe of the old-style Barcelona building with a modern touch. Room was a decent size and well equipped. I had a room looking onto a small internal courtyard (more of a light shaft) so not really much natural daylight, however that's the design of those old buildings so not a lot you can do there. Slept very well though. The staff at the hotel were excellent, all very friendly and helpful. Special commendation for the restaurant manager for being incredibly cheerful so early every day.

Generally the hotel was very good,the room was very clean and the staff very polite and friendly.Stated at the centre of BCN .The only downside was that it was a bit pricey!

Cool hotel, cool staff, cool drink, my friends and I were so happy with the choice we made staying at Icon in Barcelona. Ana and Driss from the bar always with a smile and good tips of where to go. We went very end of the day to chill while waiting for the couple we travelled with to continue exploring the city. We had the best time ever. Confortable and placed central for any traveling purpose. Make sure to have a chat with Pedro too, the places he suggested and how special he made our stay omg! We went with another couple and both rooms were spectacular.
