This place looks nicer in the pictures than it is in person. They do the absolute minimum to make it habitable. We are a family of 5 and when we arrived there was only bedding dor 4. There was a roll away bed with a sheet but no pillow or blanket. We called the front desk and theh said it was too late in the night to provide them to us. They said there may be bedding inside the couch bed, so I lifted up the couch cushion to look, and not only was it not a hide-a-bed, it was full of scurring cockroaches.
My 14 year old son slept on the portable bed with a couch cushion for a pillow and a blanket I was traveling with.
The beds are rock hard and they provided one thin pillow each. No decorations to cheer up the place. Cockroaches running across the kitchen counters.
We checked out in the morning, even though the booking was for several days.

Property is located within easy walking distance of Las Ramblas, 2 subway stations, and several convenience stores. The apartment is small for 6 people, but otherwise nice and has character. Biggest complaint is that only 1 room has an AC unit, and it wasn't very effective. The bedrooms were unbearably hot with no relief by opening the windows.

Had a nightmare checking in, we waited 30 mins with the owner trying to check in because our check in details hadn’t been sent even though we had sent the city tax, he didn’t have a clue which apartment we were in and no one was answering who knew. Apartment was quiet, cool with aircon and the bed was comfy but it was advertised with a balcony which we didn’t have.

BED BUGS!!! Do NOT stay here! We were covered in bites within days of staying there and found a massive infestation (documented by photos). The manager refuses to return our money despite the property being uninhabitable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

As I didn't know anything in Barcelona yet, I found the place a bit strange... But the comfort, care and location took away that impression and we will definitely be back! We liked a lot! We love everything!

This does not look like the photos. It was not clean at all. We found roaches everywhere. The water did not drain in the shower, we had only one towel each the entire stay. It ruined our trip to the area. I do not recommend. It was loud, partying all night. The beds are cots not beds.
