Lovely property, a diamond in the rough. The building felt very secure, the design was very modern, the rooms well maintained and clean. Pleasant staff. About an 8-10 minute walk from the metro. No complaints really, the street had supermarkets and it wasn't too far from restaurants. I did wish it was located on a nicer street, but nothing we can do about that. It didn't feel too unsafe.

There’s no air conditioner and the building is hot. I could have open the window but the area is too noisy at night

This was a last minute reservation, and turned out to be a great choice for our needs. The hotel is located in a rypical neighborhood away from tourist hustle and bustle, very family oriented, kids going to school, people walking their dogs , near shops, restaurants, cafés, bakeries. where mostly locals would shop. All walkkng distans from hotel. Great Italian restaurant less than 5 minute walk Pizzeria Trattoria la Briciola, old school decor,but check schedule they close noon and open for dinner. Walking distance to Plaça de Sants Metro station (L1 and L5 lines) which can take you to different points of intrests, maybe 10, 30 or more minutes to the different points of intrest. Loved the hotel, rooms simple budget , but rooms were very modern and very clean , quiet and secure. The staff at front desk were great, I wish I could remember one particular young maxn , who was very helpful pointing out local/good restaurants. Hotel in lobby area has a small eating area with tables and chairs, water. Also a vending machine in lobby. No toom service, however as I mentioned around the area xplenty of choices of food choices, some good and some not so good, hit and miss, part of the adventure. I definitely would recomend this hotel.

It was Not easy to check in and pay for the hotel. My credit cards would not process. I was told the reservation would be canceled if I did not pay for the 1st night ahead of time but then I messaged the hotel and the receptionist was super kind and told me to relax, it would all be ok and I could pay at the front desk. I was Very grateful. It took away a lot of stress! The front desk receptionists were all kind and helpful. The beds were firm, with crisp clean sheets. For the price of $168 a night, it was definitely expensive as it was just a room with beds, no kitchen or extra sink as we had gotten in other hotels for much less money.
