We booked this as our usual place was fully booked. When you pay 700 dollars a day, you expect some basic things like..toiletries, water, coffee pods, ..etc., but no.. instead we were charged for that. They kept complimentary water bottles the first day and thats it. This is not a 4 star property for sure. Restaurant food was also disappointing. We ordered steak and veggies. Had requested it to be well-done, but was served medium rare.. asparagus seems to have been taken out of freezer and just grilled on the outside before being served and was icey cold.
Overall a big disappoin**ent.

The room is not big but very new and clean! It is about 700 meters away from the subway. It is located in a wealthy area so it is very safe and peaceful. There is a big Carrefour 300 meters away, which is convenient for buying fruits and water. Although it is a bit far from the city, it is really good.

I am always happy to go back to Upper Diagonal - it is a little far from downtown but works well for my business. It is quite close to the metro so transport is not difficult. Very nice and clean with modern design, I recommend the Upper

Superb hotel. Excellent in every way. Beautiful quiet location close to L3 metro for easy airport & central Barcelona access. Spotlessly clean. The restaurant is first class. Thank you, chef for five amazing dinners! All the staff are terrific. Probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questo hotel per 6 notti, usufruendo sia del servizio colazione che del ristorante. L'hotel si presenta moderno raffinato e curato, la nostra camera era molto confortevole, spaziosa; particolarmente apprezzato il materasso nonché i cuscini che hanno garantito il nostro riposo, inoltre il bagno, spazioso e pratico è stato da noi gradito e ne ha consentito un utilizzo davvero funzionale, cosa che di rado capita nei soggiorni in hotel. Merita menzione il ristorante situato al piano terra dell'upper il cui ambiente è accogliente ed elegante, e le cui pietanze sono interessanti e tutte gustose al punto da decidere di cenarvi ogni sera. Anche la colazione merita: i prodotti sono freschi e di qualità. Infine ma non per ultimo è doveroso elogiare lo staff tutto: personale estremamente professionale, disponibile e sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Dovendo tornare a breve a Barcellona, sceglieremo sicuramente l' Upper Diagonal Hotel. Nel complesso, voto 10! Signore Picasso

Muy buen hotel, habitaciones amplias, bien decorado y comodo. El personal muy bien y tambien tienen un restaurante con buena comida. Esta un poco alejado del centro, pero tiene una parada de metro a menos de 10min de distancia andando. Muy recomendable
