It was a great place to stay for a few nights. The location is great, it was clean, the staff were very helpful. We had a little cute view of the street.

Unfortunately, I would not return to this hotel. First time to Barcelona and upon arrival, the hotel lobby/ reception looked tatty and worn out- certainly, not what is shown in the advertisement images, definitely needs an update! It also had a very pungent smell of drains or sewerage. This smell continued into our room which was on the fourth floor, notably in the bathroom. The carpets leading to the rooms appeared dirty, it was not what I expected at all, leaving us feeling very underwhelmed indeed. The room stipulated a court yard view but I’d have ad a better view at Manchester Strangeways HMP. However, the room was clean and did offer refreshments that you were charged for, no freebies. Tea and coffee in the room but for some reason, no milk was provided. What was strange, is that we had a double bed but two single quilts covering it. Sadly, will not be returning. It’s only redeeming feature- the location which was good.

Location is central. Rooms are clean but small. Don’t expect an early check in. They charge $20 and up for an hour later check out time. Disappointed I left my wallet in the room and when I called to retrieve it housekeeping hadn’t turned it in and it couldn’t be located in spite of no guest being checked into the room.
