My Space Barcelona Park Guell Apartments

If you'd like to have a terrible time, stay here! PROS: -There is an elevator -There is AC -5 minute walk to a supermarket -5 minute walk to a subway station CONS: -Make you pay a cleaning fee, tell you you have to clean and take out the trash or you’ll get charged. -Check in is complicated. You have to go to another place to get the key and then go to the apartment. You can get a digital key, but only if you’re able to receive SMS -The place was dusty, floors looked unswept, mirrors dirty (what about that cleaning fee??) -The last step of the staircase is loose, we found this out when one of the girls went tumbling off it -Blow dryer provided did not work, contacted the company, no response -The sheets were either dirty or mouldy, black spots all over. Only 3 comforters were provided for 5 beds. When we requested more we were ignored. -The apartment is falling apart. The fridge door was broken off and left on the floor, the freezer drawers have holes in them, the bathroom ceiling moves when you open the door, the sliding door on the main level does not close/lock -Only 4 rolls of toilet paper provided for 6 people for 6 nights. We were told we had to purchase our own afterward. -No hand soap in bathrooms/kitchen -The pictures in the ad are misleading/not a representation of what the apartment ACTUALLY looks like. One room has 2 singles shoved in it, with barely a foot between them. -No paper towel, no hand soap -They record you without your consent/knowledge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would have been nice to check in at the same place where where your staying....first time in Barcelona so its hard to check in from one place and take another taxi to go to where your actually staying with all your luggages with you....but the place was nice...
