The location is a little bit far from the tourist attraction but its still convenient to travel buy the public transportation to city center. Nice trip!!

The hotel service was very attentive. The sea view room had a decent view, though unfortunately, there was a building directly in front of it partially obstructing the view. I thought mineral water was provided daily during the stay, but the front desk said it was only on the first day. However, for the last two days, the cleaning staff kindly provided bottled water, which I really appreciate! ^_^ The showerhead in the bathroom seemed clogged, and the water pressure was very low, making the shower experience not particularly comfortable.

Seriously amazing, it exceeded my expectations! The hygiene, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. The environment and facilities were also great. If I come back, I'd definitely stay here again. It's great value for money and the location is super convenient, just a one-minute walk from the subway.

The hotel boasts a great location, quiet and situated by the sea. It's also very close to the subway station, about a 4-5 minute walk. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable, and even the single beds in the standard rooms are larger than those in typical European hotels.

The smell from the hotel's drains was unbearable. Every time I came back and opened the door, I was hit with a horrible stench that wouldn't go away, even with the windows open!

I had a really good stay at the SB Diagonal. The hotel’s location made the trip – it’s in a great area with easy access to the city centre, so getting around Barcelona was simple. The room and overall feel of the place were spot on, clean and comfortable throughout.
The food and bar weren’t the strongest part of the stay, but everything else more than made up for it. The staff were friendly, the hotel was well kept, and it was a great base for exploring the city. I’d happily stay here again!

The hotel charges upper end prices while some of the service people lack enough training. in particular one reception desk person with no ID tag has attitude problems. After you pay 250+ euros, the last thing you want is to be stopped at breakfast with the claim that you didn't pay for it. when you show the trip.com email receipt showing you paid for two breakfasts they say well that's a message in your phone, what counts is our records, and this happens in front of your guest which is damaging to you. Rolling eyes, sarcastic tone also are bonus.
After me, i heard the same person showing similar attitude to a Chinese professor attending the same conference as me. I will not stay here again.
Minor issues are lack of drinking water beyond first day and bo update of instant coffee bags. No slippers. For a hotel that charges 250+ euros, these should not be issues.
I do not recommend.

Excellent location, close to restaurant, bar, tram, bus, etc. The hotel is very close to the Citytour green route hop on hop off bus station.

A very comfortable hotel. The front desk service was excellent, and they even arranged a sea view room for us. The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich, with all sorts of specialty dishes. The hygiene was also good, though the elevator could be a bit noisy at night.
