Unfortunately, as a 65-year-old, I was quartered in room 525, after 2 sleepless nights. Then after the night tour of Casa Batllo I had to walk more than 90 minutes at night, there was no free taxi, I spoke to the police, who couldn't get one for me either.
The room card didn't work in the hotel - I went through the 3 buildings of the hotel to the 4th floor, with the elevator to the porter.
He rescanned the card and said it would work now. I'm back in the elevator to the 4th floor, across to the 3rd building, up to the 5th floor, and again: red light at the room entrance! So I called the porter - I should have taken my meds 4 hours earlier after my 7 thrombosis and the porter says he is "solo" and can't come up. I would have called the police and shouted very loudly that I needed my medication and wanted to go to my paid room in this labyrinth. The porter didn't have a room plan for me either! Outrageous! And it was 2:15 in the morning! Then the porter came after 10 minutes and I complained the next morning, then I got a room on the 1st floor and from then on everything was paletti!

It costs money to store luggage for the first time! Going early or after CHECKOUT, you have to deposit 2 Euros for your luggage to use the hotel lockers. This is very uncomfortable. Even if the 2 Euros are included in the room rate, it is better than this disgusting practice! The rooms are small and everything else is ok. Although the soundproofing is not good, fortunately the guests on the first floor are relatively quiet. It takes only five minutes to walk to the subway station. The nearby supermarkets, pharmacies and restaurants are very convenient. The facilities are relatively old, the shower is broken, and the faucet is not so good.
