The place is so old and tired it's a joke. The walls are made of big plastic panels. The rooms have no amenities, no toiletries, no coffee/tea making equipment. It is brown and drab and needs a complete refurb. The Aircon would not come on and you cannot sleep with the window open because it is so loud. Even with both sets of double glazing closed the only time it is quiet is between about 5am and 7am in the morning. And then the cleaner starts banging around. There is zero soundproofing. The bathrooms need a complete overhaul. Just don't go there

The people on reception were friendly and polite and made me feel welcome straight away. My room was a little odd. I booked a single room, and my first impression was that it was quite old fashioned and could do with a bit of modernisation. There isn’t an external window, which I found disappointing - just a window looking into the hallway of the hotel. I had to keep my blinds closed the whole time just to maintain some privacy. The hotel is situated on a very busy street off of La Rambla, so if you’re looking to be central, this hotel is great. I think that’s really what you’re paying for, as the hotel itself is very basic, although clean. As a female solo traveller, I felt perfectly safe here. The room did not look like the photos on the website.

I booked this hotel because of locaion and it is centrally located. However, be aware that some transportation do not stop at the hotel front door.
It is located on a narrow side street off Ramblas. In the early hour or late at night, small cars or taxi could come to the front. But, I booked a shared transfer from the airport and the driver of the van refused to come into Ramblas. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but you must confirm with the transfer company if they would drop off on Ramblas which is only 100 feet away.
The room is small but has everything I need. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English.

The strong point of this hotel is the geographical location. located a stone's throw from the Rambla in the Gothic Quarter. it's clean, the staff is courteous but if you're looking for great luxury, move on. It's simple and practical but the value for money is correct. the only problem is the noise! on the outside it's great but we have to keep the windows closed. the problem is in the hotel, you can hear everything! We had breakfast included, it's not great. the coffee served is dishwater and when we saw that they were equipped with a great coffee machine, that's what we ordered but we had to pay extra. Frankly, when it comes to including breakfast, at least have the decency to serve decent coffee!

Very well located hotel, really close to the Rambla and great parking 25€/24h, the only downside is the soundproofing, very poorly insulated... we still managed to sleep well, the room was clean. The staff is friendly enough, we didn't have lunch
