I booked a room with a bed curtain, but they gave me a room without one. When I asked the front desk to switch rooms, they said there were none available. Shouldn't they have reserved the one with the curtain for me? Plus, the room with the curtain was more expensive, and I didn't even get a refund. How did this happen? It was only 4 PM, and check-in starts at 3 PM. I find it hard to believe all rooms were occupied so quickly within an hour. This feels like a complete rip-off!

I booked this place once before but didn't end up staying, so I booked it for a few nights on my second trip to Barcelona. The environment is nice, just like the pictures. There's a toilet and a shower in the room, which are a bit small. Soundproofing isn't great, but it wasn't noisy at night. The main issue is if someone in your dorm snores, there's nothing you can do. I wouldn't recommend mixed dorms as it's inconvenient. It's much better for girls to stay with other girls. Free luggage storage is a plus. The blankets and sheets are very comfortable. The location is very convenient, easy to find, and safe. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Location: I can only say it's unbeatable! First of all, the location is really good, close to attractions, only four minutes from Casa Milà. It's in the city center, very close to both the metro and bus stations. Plus, the area feels very safe, right near a luxury shopping street. Secondly, I booked a female dorm room for four. The bathroom was very clean, had a hairdryer (and it wasn't a bad one!), and even shampoo, which really surprised me since hotels in London sometimes have nothing. The shower area was spacious, and my roommates were all very nice. The mattress was thick and comfortable, and the pillow was great too. With earplugs, I was able to wake up at 11 AM every day and head out to explore, just like a proper vacation. I was also assigned a room with a balcony, so it had excellent natural light. This apartment even has an old elevator, which I used every day – it was charming and saved me from walking. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Compared to hotel prices, this place offered such great value and a comfortable stay. It was an absolute steal. I'll definitely be back next time. By the way, for those staying in hostels, I highly recommend bringing earplugs, earplugs, earplugs! An eye mask can be useful too, but I think earplugs alone are enough to guarantee a good night's sleep!
