It was alright. For an out of season rate of roughly £280 a night when we went, it just wasn’t worth it unfortunately, and everything outside of the reception area just felt and looked a bit worn out. Various lights in the room didn’t work, heard another guest complaining about the same…. Coffee machine didn’t work, a couple of plug sockets didn’t work… TV remote had a mind of its own. Most disappointing bit was rooftop bar was closed for refurbishment which wasn’t advertised anywhere, and the 10ft x 4ft rooftop paddling pool was already a bit of a compromise (if its one of the features you’re booking it for). Location is great, no problems there. If you’re booking for £150ish a night i’d say it’s there or thereabouts for value purely based on good location. Not sure i’d stay again. Staff very attentive, friendly and professional just let down by the rooms and other things a bit by general low standards of maintenance.
