Kabul Party Hostel Barcelona

We had a good 4-day stay. We got what we were looking for. The rooms were always tidy, as were the bathrooms, which were cleaned twice a day. The showers warmed up immediately and there was enough space in the cabins. You can check in day and night. Due to the start times of the clubs, the pub crawl starts quite late (11 p.m.). It is not recommended for people who do not want to go to the typical clubs in Barcelona (Playa). Nevertheless, there are evening activities every day from 9 p.m. onwards. The drinks at the bar are also really affordable. We were even more pleased that there were pillars (3 liters = €18). You get to know a lot of people! There is also a security guard overnight who ensures safety and may ask for room cards. The curtains on the beds provide a little privacy and the beds themselves are very stable. If you sleep upstairs you have to expect a small and very narrow ladder. There are lockers in the rooms that are locked with the cards. Despite the Placa Reial in front of the door, it was relaxing to sleep with the window closed. I would recommend earplugs anyway because of the slamming doors in the hallway and potentially snoring neighbors. Another nice thing is the terrace, which has a beautiful view and (I can imagine) is a cozy place to spend time together in the summer. All in all, the stay can be rated as very good. If you also have fun roommates (as in our case), the experience is perfect. I would book my overnight stay there again.

My stay at the aimé hostel was not the most pleasant. The level of cleanliness is low: the floors in the room were dirty and sometimes the bathrooms were dirty too. They provide you with sheets for free and unfortunately ours were stained, like the blanket, which had a clear stain of dried vomit, evident that the blanket has not even been looked at and consequently not even washed. Both were changed without problems. To have towels you have to pay €2.50 and upon arrival they will ask for a deposit of €10.00 per person. The positive aspects are: the very central location and the activities they organize for young people, obviously most of them for a fee. Breakfast was normal, many products were out of stock and were not replaced. I would recommend staying in a dormitory with few beds: we were two girls in a room with 22 beds and there were only men.

Pour 18€ : localisation parfaite sur la place royale de Barcelone, auberge très très propre si bien qu’on croirait même que ça n’en n’est pas une, sécurisée, petit déjeuner (tres correct) offert, facilité de check in et de check out, lit agréable sans bruit. C’est parfait, on peut même faire des rencontres (s/o charles) sur le rooftop ou ailleurs. En somme, à faire et à refaire.
