La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown

I enjoyed this hotel! Very clean and was in the middle of all the distilleries!

I’ve stayed at the La Quinta in Bardstown three times now, and each visit has been consistently great. The hotel is always very clean, which is something I really appreciate. The staff truly stands out—they are welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind every time I’ve been there. The breakfast offers a great variety, with plenty of options to choose from, and everything has been fresh and well-maintained. The pool area was also clean and enjoyable, which made the stay even better. Overall, it’s a reliable, comfortable place to stay with excellent service. I wouldn’t hesitate to return again.

We had a pretty terrible stay. This was our second stay at this location and last time (in Nov 2025) our mini fridge wasn't working upon arrival. This time we requested a room on the 1st floor and to ensure our mini fridge was working. We were assigned a room on the 1st floor and our mini fridge was working. However, that room was infested with ants. The woman at the front desk gave us some ant spray and cleaner to address the issue, but we have a 10 month old baby and a 3-year-old so we didn't feel comfortable doing that. They offered to upgrade us to a room with a king bed and a pullout couch, which didn't accommodate our needs given we were traveling with 2 children, we needed 2 beds, not a pullout couch, so they then moved us to a room on the 4th floor which is the exact opposite of what we requested. In addition to these issues, both mornings at 9 o'clock, the kitchen staff ran out of gravy. Then, Sunday morning, when they ran out of gravy, everybody started going for the Waffle machine and they only had one Waffle spout, which was regular instead of having 2 which included the blueberry... it's a weekend and they shouldn't be running out of anything when there's an hour left of breakfast! So we left hungry both days even though we paid for a room that included breakfast. I told the woman at checkout, all of these issues and she didn't offer an apology nor did she offer any compensation.

I would so stay here again. Try it out. All new looking. Only tried the muffin at breakfast and it was dry. Maybe everything else at breakfast was ok.

Staff at the front desk from check-in to check out were very attentive and kind. Our king studio was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the decor and lighting in the room. Bright when wanted and dim when watching a movie or early morning when I was still in bed and my husband was ip and around. The breakfast was at right temperature and the area was very clean. The breakfast attendant was super sweet and on the ball. Great stay!

The staff was welcoming, the room was spotless, and the bed felt like a reward for existing. No complaints—just a really solid stay. I’ll be back!

Savannah (front desk) and every single person we interacted with was great; friendly, helpful, full of smiles…etc. Our room was clean, housekeeping was prompt, towels were fluffy and immaculate and while I prefer a very firm mattress the one provided was comfortable. The bedside usb outlets WORKED! My only suggestion is the lighting in the room is a bit dim. And because of space issues, the fridge and microwave (which is a must for us when traveling) is in an extremely awkward location. Other than that, we were very pleased.

There isn't a bad thing to say about the staff here at La Quinta. Whether its Sam remembering your bday and getting you sprinkle donuts. Or Tiffany and Becca lovingly joking around with you. From Amanda as house keeping manager to making sure your room is as expected. These women have treated me like family and I can't say enough about how professional and kind and caring they have all been when I do come into town. I will certainly hope that anyone who comes to Bardstown. To definitely come stay here if they want a southern charm and welcoming smile. They will treat you with respect and kindness..they can answer all of your questions and help you plan a special date out on town should you need assistance.
