The hotel experience was very good overall. The location was nice and convenient, the check-in process was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had made a separate booking for the second day with twin beds, but the staff kindly arranged for us to stay in the same room with a double bed for both nights, which we really appreciated. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Back again for round four! I reckon I’m officially part of the furniture here by now. To put it simply, if you want a reliable place to get your head down in London, the value here is completely unmatched. It’s easily the most competitively priced option I’ve found in the city that actually delivers on consistency time and time again. Now, about that ground-floor bathroom pong I mentioned after my previous stay... I’m happy to report things are looking (and smelling) up. There’s still a slight whiff to it, if I’m being completely honest, but it’s far less potent than last time and totally manageable, but this time I was on the first floor. I also really want to take a moment to mention the staff. They are always incredibly fast and efficient at getting everyone sorted, and honestly, they deserve a lot more credit than they probably get for keeping things running so smoothly. All in all, another brilliant, budget-friendly sleep. Huge thanks to the team for having me again!

There is a simple lounge area. The rooms are fine, but don’t leave anything behind as you won’t get it back.

Some of the staff here are great, particularly the receptionists who are very helpful. However, the noise levels were a bit of an issue. The doors aren't soundproof, and the service staff in the hallway were quite loud; I could even hear one of them telling the other to "shhhhh" right through the door. Great service at the front desk, but the lack of noise insulation in the rooms is a downside.

I stayed in room 18 in Ibis on the ground floor. I did not pay for breakfast. The room was clean and larger than I expected. I had a double bed and this was great as I was a solo traveller! The room had a window but no view. It took around 15 mins to walk from Barking station to the hotel and it was a pleasant walk. Barking has some very old buildings and interesting sites. The bathroom was larger than I expected with a walk in shower. Check in was very quick. There is a big Tescos within an easy few minutes walk from the hotel to buy food and there is a Starbucks for coffee. The hotel was quite noisy as it’s on a busy duel carriageway but there is a blind as there is not much of a view. There were a lot of big foreign groups staying who liked to block the corridors and talk very loudly at all times of the night. But I had a comfy bed and a comfy stay. There was not a kettle in the room

Customer service is not good. They don’t look like they are part of Accor. Also, sad to see this hotel is going down in terms of amenities. Too noisy in front of highway.

To put it simply, the environment is quite good. However, the location is relatively close to areas with a high concentration of Black and Muslim residents, so it's advisable to be a bit cautious at night. Also, it's a 10-15 minute walk to the subway station, and you have to cross a park which can be quite dark in the evening.

Alright hotel in Barking. Location isn't too far however is next to a loud road that it is not well soundproofed against. Room is relatively clean and comfortable.

I stayed for 10 nights, but they didn't change drinking glass for tap water (my lips were on the glass the whole time).The heater in the room couldn't be adjusted to hot air; it switched between cool and hot air, making the room not warm enough. However, the hotel provided an additional portable heater. There's only one power outlet, which isn't enough to cover all usage. From the underground station, you have to walk through a park and a small construction site, and cross a bridge over a canal. It was very cold.

Staff where very friendly, missed the tea and coffee without the extra charge but they always kept informed of what was happening within the hotel and area especially on are last night with an issue arrising

Really like the hotel, the room is not that big, but very clean

The location was convenient for London without London pricing but was still expensive for what little amenities were provided. No bin or kettle and 2 plugs, with one used for the fan in 30 degree weather. Had to take turns charging phone. I would recommend for solo travelers but but not 2 people.
