Barking Park Hotel

I think 1 star too high, the hotel was horrendous. Room was filthy, bed sheets covered in suspicious brown marks. Pillows looked yellow. Needs a serious deep clean or to be closed down. NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Last minute booking for ride london a hotel that wouldn't cost me the national debt. Didn't expect much for the price and didn't get a lot! Before they checked me in they insisted on showing me the room incase I didn't like it, but regardless I wouldn't have had a choice or it would mean sleeping in car!!! Had to pay a deposit for room this was not advertised. Room was basic and tv had no ariel cable, I had one in the car so was able to watch Tv There is a small carpark which was full, thankfully parking is free at the weekends on the roads. However the staff asked me to move mine even though it was on a public road as they had a delivery. Bed was average comfort but sleep was disturbed as night was hot and I had windows open and was woken due to onsite party with fireworks. OK 10pm was early but I had to be up at 4am to get to ridelondon start. Bathroom was dated but shower worked fine. Sadly corridors smelt of ****. Left at 4:30am reception was 24/7 they paid back my deposit without checking anything. I would only stay here again at last resort

Myself and my boyfriend were stranded in London and had trouble finding somewhere to stay. This was the only place available. And for £50 I honestly would have expected more. Three single beds and a TV that didn’t work properly. We joked about and said the Candyman was going to get us but we double checked the door all the time. If either of us wanted to go to the toilet down the hallway we made sure we went together! This was because the Uber driver told us it was a known place for ********** to pick up from. The bloke at reception could not really understand what we was talking about, but was friendly enough. To be honest I didn’t sleep a wink and neither did he. We both left feeling worse than when we went in! 2 measly small towels to shower with. Yeah no thanks mate. The beds were creeky and the mattresses bumpy. I would not recommend this place. If you are that desperate don’t bother with this one. Trust me
