Maybe because it was bank holiday meant the price was dearer. Definitely not worth £150 a night. But the bed was great. The bathroom a god size. As a guest however I feel I should not have been denied a dink at 10-45 . As the bar was open . But as a paying guest no service. I would not the recommend this hotel at the price I paid. £75 a fairer ask. The breakfast was good. The bacon top notch however.

Room 212.The room and en suite was clean but the bedroom did not have any windows for ventilation all it had was a door leading to the balcony which on a warm night you would have to open for security reason was dangerous, its a wonder they are allowed to offer it as an accommodation. the only very small almost impossible to reach top window in the en-suite this would only crack open a tiny amount to allow air flow in the bathroom this had a noisy extractor fan . There was not information left in the room on facilities of the wherry hotel and local area only an advertisement for weddings to be held there but there was a welcoming tray of drinks. When the accommodation asked and was told of these discretises she just shrugged her shoulders and told me i should have complained yet this should be a standard for a hotel not a cheaper B&b. Only have the carvery and breakfast were very good but the meal of wherry own pie and chips ,peas with no gravy supplied was an expensive cafe food not good but i ate it so did not complain.

Father's Day carvery meal, really good. Staff were lovely. Prices were reasonable but the band playing in the bar was awful! We go there regularly but won't go again if that band is playing. Bit of a nightmare for a wheelchair user but I knew what to expect and with a bit of help everything was fine. Undoubtedly we shall go again.

Firstly this review is 100%genuine. My room had noise problems with fans externally and noise from other areas.An nghtmare. As to other reviews I fudntbuse lift as it was grinding. This is a major health and safety issue.This lift in my opinion is not fit for purpose and should be taken out of service until repaired.I someone gets stuck as can and has happened you can get sued. Breakfast was OK. Didnt gave a meal as people didn't recommend. Sorry if this upsets you but its to help your business. The hotel us in a superb location but needs updating in certain areas and probably needs better management.

Fantastic hotel, good location for exploring Suffolk and Norfolk. The main part of the hotel, bar, restaurant and staff are all fantastic. The only letdown was the very tired condition of our room and damaged decor. Along with others this looks like the main negative, but for somewhere to sleep it was a comfortable clean bed, with the usual room facilities. Certainly worth a revisit, maybe after some redecorating.

Really happy with our stay, it had a traditional feel to its , will wallpaper walls, wooden features, photos/paintings down all the corridors Room are nice and spacious , and delicious food. Not the easiest building to navigate if disabled and the DISABLED parking really needS to be reviewed an my opinion as they are not adapted size and only two for a very large car park. All the staff have been kind, respectful , polite and helpful, everything it keep clean and tidy. they helped with some troublesome clientele well too. which i'm very grateful for .
