James at check in was amazing he is an asset to the company Pay rise for James. NOTHING was to much for him went above and beyond. He made my stay. Room was clean and tidy got good night's sleep. Ate in restraunt both night and meal was very nice. Would stay again

It does what it says on the tin. You know you are going to get a great bed & the fact it had air-conditioning on a hot day, was a huge plus. Very nice young guy helping people book in on the machines, deserves a mention for his very friendly demeanor. Quick & easy on a very busy working trip, thanks.

Great stay at this hotel What an absolute star JAMES the receptionist is, so helpful and friendly you are lucky to have home working for you. Parking was so easy underneath the hotel. Should we stay in Barnsley again I would definitely pick here.

This was the first time we used Premier Inns and most likely the last. I ran the hot tap in the bathroom basin for over five minutes and still the water was not hot. The shower was the same story as we only managed to get a mildly warm shower. The bed was not as big as those available in Ibis Styles. Dinner in the Table Table restaurant was the average pub food type. The chips were floppy and limp and are best avoided. Parking is charged as extra and is in a multi-story car park £5.00 for 24 hours.

5 minutes from the local nightlife and a 10 minute walk from the local shopping centre, multistorey car park next to hotel

The Premier Inn in Barnsley is so central it is easier to stop over rather than taxi back home. We have booked here on several occasions and gone out in Barnsley for a change. Hotel is nice and clean and easy to park around there.

There was a warm welcome at the hotel. The staff were helpful and pleasant at all times and the room was warm and clean and comfortable. The only down side was parking but again the staff were very helpful even with this.

A very disappointing experience. We arrived before checknin time and so had a drink in the bar. Not a good experience. We had to find a member of staff. Then bothe the bar and our table were so so sticky and had nit been cleaned properly. It was only 2.30pm. Chair covering were damaged, worn and torn. Check in was a terrible experience. The member of staff had no interest in us at all and was borderline rude ! Room was fine. Check out was an all together different experience.- a very kind young man who went out of his way to deliver great customer service. The Check in member of staff clearly has alot to learn.

It's a classic Premier Inn. We had a bath in our room which was good for us with our young un. The main reason we wanted to write was to praise the staff. I had an incident, completely unrelated to the hotel, which meant I had to go to hospital and necessitates an extra nights say. The staff have been exceptionally friendly and lovely to us, have looked after our little un and gone above and beyond. They're a credit to Premier Inn. Cannot say enough nice things about them.
