Quite a basic and functional room. Opens to outdoor area. Has indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness room/gym. Amazingly powerful shower and clean high spec hotel common areas. A solid 3 star hotel with free parking as a bonus for this area.

We took our husband parents for a weekend away and they thoroughly enjoyed staying the Barnstaple Hotel. The rooms were ground floor with walk in showers which was ideal. The room was lovely & clean

The hotel is nice, the bedrooms are ok a bit tired. The radiator was either on very hot or off very cold no way of turning the temperature down gradually.

i chose this hotel as it was near to my friends and because it had a swimming pool. My daughter loved swimming there for as long as she wanted and it could watch from the side with a cuppa if i wanted to. Breakfast is lovely too.

We had a family stay. The kids loved the pools, as did the adults. Nice atmosphere in hotel with excellent staff.

Nice property with a good location, walkable into town however if the weather is not so good you will need your car, plenty of parking on site with no charge.

Barney hotel Starter. Okay, not enough bread with the chicken pate, just two bread sticks however Pate was nice. Cocktails are good, I’ve enjoyed the espresso martini. I’m excited for the mains as I don’t usually have haddock. I also want to say that the bread and butter pre-starter is also very enjoyable and many of us indulged

It's what a hotel should be. I always look forward to staying here. Proper service. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Good facilities. Near some of the best scenery in the world.
