Lovely welcome , clean throughout ,lovely comfortable beds,fluffy towels ,tea and coffee facilities , great service avaliable microwave and fridge for those of us on a budget highly recommend for families ,or if you'd prefer they have a great menu for breakfast lunch and dinner at sensible prices for quality meals,family friendly , pool table in the back room and cinema and shopping within a five minute walk ,staff couldn't be more helpful great relaxed a**oshere I would highly recommend to all .

The stay was excellent the hotel was clean and the staff were great also the local people were really friendly I have stayed in many hotels but would really like to recommend this hotel and will return next week when I go back to work in Barry

This accommodation is more suited to contractors, we have stayed here 3 years running at first the cost was reasonable, but obviously, the cost has to rise as years go on.£65 for a poor standard room ,we couldn't flush the toilet even lifting the cistern lid. How do you manage to use the hairdryer when there is no mirror adjacent to the plug socket? No mirror in the room other than the bathroom? Unfortunately we will be looking elsewhere for 2024 NY Eve

Good for the price. Clean room and comfortable bed. No meals onsite so asked girl behind the bar for ding options. Not much help , said McDonalds and a takeaway down the road . Turns out we found a choice of two good pubs! Only five minutes round the corner. Overall ok.

We arrived to say the staff were awful was a understatement. We then got to our room to say it was terrible is a understatement. Dirty wall , dirty shower . Furniture falling to bits . We kept out of the room as much as we could . There was no breakfast as it said there was . Then we got so new people in the next room . They were banging doors shouting this went on for hours eventually I opened the door and asked for them to have some consideration that we were trying to sleep. We we’re told on booking the hotel had been refurbished. We looked on the site and our room was no were to be seen what a surprise. Would never stay here again or advise anyone too

This was not what I expected. Room was dusty. Bed screws coming out . Cupboard moving from side to side about to collapse. No breakfast which was on many sites as a free breakfast. Internet didn't work. We only stayed one night then left . It seems we can not have a refund as we handed the keys to the wrong persone at 8.30 in the morning. Would not recommend .

Loud music in bar and could be heard from first floor room, Shower awful ie cold....no heating in room. Yes cheap but not worth it. Awful location .......quite scary .......staff were helpful to start but then did not care. Wrote a honest review and they did not like it, so asked me to re submit as i told the truth. Would not recommend two women to go on their own. Nobody on reception on checking out, and they lied to say there was.......so no one there to help. Whole place needs refurbishment......very poor but i can say clean. Will never stay there again but the hotel owner has said would not let me stay again.......so no loss there........so their comments show how awful they were. I have a right to speak the truth and let others know..
