Stayed there on two previous occasions. Can’t fault it staff excellent. Meal deals at weekends food is really nice. Also decent breakfast and a sun trap terrace for drinks.

The hotel is right at the end of the mini main street so gives you exposure to nearby amenities
The reception was lovely and the food was nice

The room prices are most of the time extortionate.hopelessly overpriced due to local demand. 2 single beds in my room were visibly used ( hairs ).small towel seemed not clean.changed room by polite reception staff.

I just want to thank the guy last night at the desk for giving me another room without charging me extra. That was very kind of him. Didn’t get his name. had a lovely time for my stay. Very clean 10 out 10 😊

First of all, I want to correct you. The area of the hotel room mentioned on the platform as "4m²" is wrong! The room is large and the bathroom is 4 square meters. Secondly. This hotel is quite far from Lake Windermere. It takes an hour to drive.

Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍

Professional, yet friendly staff . . . everything else is per norm for an IHG Hotel. Bars & restaurants within 10mins, will use again next time I'm this way and would recommend to anyone 👌👍😎

on the whole the hotel is very good but let down by consistently cold breakfast and poor response by breakfast staff as to problems with breakfast equipment and re-supply

The room was exactly as it appeared in the photo, we had a standard double and it was clean and comfortable with all of the amenities as described. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Good choice for breakfast, a machine for coffee or hot chocolate, croissants and muffins, fruits and cereals, cooked breakfast. The only 2 disappointments for me were the sausages were more like hot dog sausages and I couldn’t get a fried egg (I asked the man who was filling the hot food trays and he said it was scrambled egg only). These weren’t an issue for me and don’t effect my rating which will still be 5 stars, would definitely stay again
