Top Frühstück mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung. Tolle Atmosphäre. Schöne Zimmer mit viel Platz. Sehr zu empfehlen, auch mit kleinen Kindern. Wir waren voll und ganz zufrieden. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Preis Leistung gut bis sehr gut

Have stayed a few times, comfortable, bright and airy bedroom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had a rude awakening with the fire alarm sounding at 0530 on one morning and had to evacuate to the carpark. On day of leaving, we had a light breakfast and were offered bacon sandwiches as we had a long car journey. Best hotel experience in the area.

Just arrived home following another wonderful 2 night stay. Beautiful hotel set in stunning grounds. Stayed in the lovely Buttermere Suite which was so comfortable and spacious with great views over the gardens. Lovely food and very attentive staff, nothing was too much trouble to them. Thank you Abbey House Hotel, you never disappoint ❤️❤️❤️

This is our best hotel in our local locality so we visit for a meal regularly. We stayed the night on this occasion after dinner with friends. We had a king room in the original hotel and it was lovely,warm, bed comfortable and very quiet despite a wedding elsewhere in the hotel. Our meal was good as usual, a slight blip when some of the starters didn’t arrive but resolved by a waiter. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff are very helpful and polite so overall a very good stay. We will be back for a meal before long.

We got married at Abbey House Hotel and Gardens on the 27th August 2023. After attending there wedding fair we decided to book an appointment to which we booked our wedding that day. Laura and Lauren were always there to help us and go through every step of the planning for our big day. They were amazing with everything. All the staff were brilliant as well. Food was amazing and the rooms were beautiful. We could not have asked for a better day. Thank you to the wedding team Love Kyla & Keith

Our second visit to the excellent quality hotel set in beautiful grounds and with just a short walk to the abbey. Also within 10 minutes drive of South Lakes Zoo. The staff were very friendly and helpful and whilst there was a wedding in progress this did not impact on our stay in any way. Excellent breakfast with both cold buffet and cooked breakfast. We will definitely be back, thank you Abbey House Hotel.

Abbey House is a really great place to stay. Comfort, and luxury, at a really great price. Such a historic building, set in a leafy environment, near to the ruins of Furness Abbey. I booked two rooms, for my 60th birthay. We checked in, got the party started, and headed off to my 60th party. Unfortunately, I had an accident later in the evening, and was unable to return to the hotel, for an overnight stay, and subsequent breakfast. However the two hours, i did experience after check in, more than exceeded my expectations.
