Das ”Amplidi Hotel” in Hannover liegt etwas dezentral in einem Vorort/Industriegebiet. Das Hotel ist video-überwacht und ein Check-in ist 24 Std. über die blauen Kästen am Eingang möglich. Zimmer 005 war im Parterre, man erhält einen richtigen Schlüssel mit dem auch die Zimmertür abzuschließen ist - gleichzeitig Haustürschlüssel ist. Leider war der Teppichboden nicht überall fleckenfrei, aber in Hotels mit Teppichböden ist das wohl mit der Zeit auch unwahrscheinlich. Das Bett war bequem, das Hotel ruhig. Rauchen ist nur außerhalb des Hotels gestattet. Im Zimmer war neben einem TV auch eine Kaffeemaschine und ein Kühlschrank vorhanden. Im Badezimmer gab es ein dimmbares Licht und neben Handtüchern, Shampoo und Seife auch einen Fön. Es gibt ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Das kostenlose Wlan funktionierte ohne Probleme. Da ich kein Frühstück gebucht hatte, kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Der kurze Kontakt zum Personal war freundlich.

Wi-Fi worked normally. The room is clean, the bed is tough, but sleep is comfortable. There is a supermarket REWE nearby, opens at 7 a.m., very convenient if you need to buy water, baking, fruit, true alcohol choice is limited. On Sunday, almost nothing works, products are worth buying in advance. Very, very bad noise insulation, maybe you need to put new glass packets, at night when the tram passes, the feeling that it is driving a metre from you, the curtains as such are missing, so all street lighting hits right into the eyes. The room is small. A strange hotel entrance system. I checked in on Sunday, nobody responded to the call button, had to call on the phone indicated on the door. In the afternoon, the door to the corridor with the rooms is closed on the key, possibly for safety, but the key to the entrance door to the room and from the door to the corridor is the same, it is somewhat alarming. The refrigerator, the safe is not, but personally for me their absence was not a problem.

All right for the small stay . Good access with the outdoors.

A comfortable clean room with free tea/coffee/water and a bathroom set had a cleaning device, which turned out to be very good by the way. Good staff, delicious breakfasts. The hotel is 15 minutes' walk from the station, but is located next to the area where migrants live. The window comes out of the windows of the neighboring house, which are very close (so the windows are made of matte glass).

Only 13.00 arrived at the hotel. Rooms were already free (or we would have just put the bags off) but we were calculated 10 euros per hour for earlier check-in, i.e. 20 euros in addition. Unsuitable and unconsidered: if all travellers check in at point 15.00, stress would come. In turn, we have not received any refund, although we check out 1.5 hours before date. Location great, very central. Rooms really really really mini small! Washing basin in the bedroom, no privacy. Breakfast class.

The check-in was very friendly and there were apples and refreshments in the lobby. Also there are only positive reports on the shuttle service to the airport, timely and helpful. I would have expected more from the room. It is tasteful and practically furnished and very spacious and absolutely clean. However, I wonder why there is no ”light” light. The lamps in the room only throw dark indirect light. It was not possible to light the room. That was very well hit the mind. The switch between night-lamp and reading lamp was defect, so not at all, only the inner life was visible, which I think is dangerous. Although Leonardo casts with sound-isolated windows. I could not see any difference to normal glass windows and it was incredibly noisy in the night. Furthermore, the brightness came so that we can hear the TV, toilet noise etc. of the neighbouring rooms well. A water cooker as shown in the room description did not exist with us. Only a capsule machine was available. This was why we had to prepare the water for our tea and thus tasted the tea for coffee. Also very bad that no sustainability is being considered and actually coffee capsules are still offered. For one night to get to the airport, it's OK. I can't recommend a longer stay.

I find it difficult to rate the hotel fairly. It's totally out of date, the hallway carpet is stained and the room is hopelessly dated. At first I thought it was supposed to be a kind of hotel style, but it quickly became clear that the economy was being kept to a minimum here. Here the maximum is taken out of the situation without bothering to modernize anything. And that would be necessary. And the time would certainly have been during Corona. But what can you expect for €35 a night? For that it was okay. It was mostly clean in the room, everything worked. I wouldn't spend a penny more though. As accommodation for the small euro it is okay so far. I would recommend it to craftsmen who do not have high standards.
