Fairfield Inn & Suites Stroudsburg Bartonsville/Poconos

My wife and I along with our 11 year old twin girls recently spent a night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Stroudsburg Bartonsville/Poconos en route to New York City after a full day on the road. That said, here was the experience we took away from it: Lobby/first impression - We walked in to a spacious, comfortable and clean lobby that presented vey well before being greeted by the very friendly front desk staffer. She had us sorted and checked in in no time. Five stars all round. Location – Excellent location for all those looking for a rest right off the I-80. Being close to restaurants and shops in the immediate area is also a big plus where convenience is concerned. Hard to beat its access right off the highway for easy in and out of the area. Rooms – Exceptionally clean and comfortable, and providing all the necessities for a one night's stay. Zero complaints here, with the usual amenities expected from a hotel of this class included. Five stars. Other stuff: The complimentary breakfast was a plus for getting our girls fed and on the road, located to the rear of the hotel lobby past the front desk. A very comfortable space with a relaxed vibe and big windows that made it a great way to start the day. Items included a cereal, eggs, sausage, etc., and ample seating. Great breakfast. Value: We managed to get a room at a reasonable rate ($128USD), and felt it matched the quality we received in return, and much better priced than some of its direct competitors in the area. As far as ‘highway’ hotels go, we found this to be great value, given the astronomical rates some of the surrounding area hotels charge (trust me, we looked). To that end, we'd call the value we received a win. The Bottom Line – A well-appointed property, comfortable, convenient, and an overall pleasant stay to report. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Stroudsburg Bartonsville/Poconos is definitely one of the more appealing choices at this highway stopover point, and would recommend to anyone seeking a reputable, convenient and efficient hotel, with high standards for its guests. Five stars easily, based on our experience, well done.

Clean and quiet. We stayed for a little family getaway. My daughters and I spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was good and having access to coffee all day was a nice perk. The one thing I miss is housekeeping. I had to empty my own trash and there is no housekeeping during the day anymore. However we only stayed 2 nights so not a deal breaker. Look forward to staying again when visiting the poconos.

Great time

I am a local who had a water heater emergency and needed a stay for hot running water for showers/laundry. I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby decor. Nicely appointed. Indoor pool. Only one set of laundry machines I used after midnight so there was no wait. Daughter used the gym -had tread, elliptical and weights. Room was a good size with cool pullout desk. Lots of modern ports for charging devices. Breakfast (free) had lots of variety including eggs and sausage. The lobby had a little sundry shop for convenience including beer but.there is a Giant across the street if you don’t want to pay for the convenience. I used a AAA rate for my stay so it was around $130 which I thought was high but I guess competitive rate. Check in was easy, parking plentiful and my only complaint was how the room price rose to $225 for second night so I bailed even though our water heater was not fully replaced yet. Would have stayed one more night if they could have kept my rate.

The hotel was very nice and it had everything we needed. I traveled with my kids and they loved the pool. Room was clean and also in very good condition-well done engineering team. Also must mention Soroya at the Front Desk, she was very kind we felt welcomed. Definitely a good experience!!

It was a great property in a great location. The front desk attendant was very polite and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.
