One experience with a Carbondale Air B&B last fall sent us straight back to easy, reliable, convenient Days Inn this time. Very clean, comfortable rooms, great mattresses, good pillows, great shower with nice product, everything you need without fancy bells and whistles that you don't need and just drive up the price at "luxury" hotels. And the service is BETTER than at fancier hotels we've stayed at. Our rooms were well cleaned and fresh towels etc. left for us every day. From desk clerks to cleaning people, couldn't ask for nicer more efficient service. Check in and check out are a breeze with links sent and if you have a question a helpful friendly person is there to help. I left a pair of sandals behind and got a call as we were heading out on the highway, so we were able to turn around and collect them at the front desk and be on our way again all in about 10 minutes. Will be returning this fall and wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else in Carbondale.

No breakfast as advertised. Check in at 4, not 3 as advertised. Pet friendly, 25.00 a night with all kinds of scarey details you have to agree to. Parking 5.00 a night in a public parking area.

Appears clean, bathroom door needs wiped down at least. Worst breakfast so far.
