Wonderful hotel with lots of nice perks. Beautiful breakfast with a good range of fresh produce to choose from. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our hotel stay met all our expectations and then some. The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet which is served in a glass garden room included excellent food and peaceful surrounding. The hotel is located within walking distance of the old city and many other sites. We found the walk from the train station very easy. In the Wettsteinplatz, just west of the hotel we found great food at both the Sutter Begg Bakery and Prego Restaurant. The latter make an phenomenal pizza.

Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Angestellte. Sehr sauberes Zimmer, ruhig. Minibar gefüllt und kostenlos. Lage zentral, um schnell an jedem Ort der Stadt zu sein. Die inkludierte Baselcard erlaubt Museumsbesuche zum halben Preis - grandios.

Really pleasant stay at Hotel Wettstein. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was compact, but well designed and spotless. We would definitely stay again on a visit to Basel.

Das Hotel Wettstein in Kleinbasel ist für mich wie ein zweites Zuhause geworden. Bei jedem Aufenthalt werde ich vom freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal warmherzig begrüßt. Das gesamte Personal, von der Rezeption bis zur Reinigung, ist sehr freundlich. Die Dame vom Frühstück erkundigt sich sogar nach meinen Söhnen, obwohl ich diese bei meinem letzten Aufenthalt nicht dabei hatte. Das zeigt, dass das Personal hier nicht nur seinen Job macht, sondern sich wirklich für seine Gäste interessiert. Die Lage des Hotels in Kleinbasel ist ideal. Man ist in wenigen Gehminuten am Rhein, in der Altstadt oder in den Museen. Auch die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr ist hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Ich kann das Hotel Wettstein in Kleinbasel ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Es ist ein idealer Ort für alle, die ein herzliches und gleichzeitig komfortables Zuhause auf Zeit in Basel suchen.

Very elegantly renovated hotel in great area of Basel. Nice simple breakfast with free choice of eggs. Only coffee from machine, not from espresso machine. Also, every floor have a coffee /tea/water machine with real water glasses, but why are coffee cups in cartons? And not real cups? Is this the most sustainable solution?
Reception was a bit arrogant depending on person, but overall nice and the buildings/interior is so great!!
