Excellente table, raffinéeet simple a la fois, nous avons fait découvrir un petit coin de la gastronomie Francaise a nos collégues de Taïwan. Une réussite… La sélection de Cognac est impréssionante. Je recommande vivement cet endroit convivial et discret.

We spent a wonderful 5 nights here to explore the cognac region. The staff are fantastic, the gardens beautiful, and the food absolutely superb. They have a large selection of cognacs to taste too. Even though the mattress was a little too firm for our liking, we still slept well. A wonderful place to stay and would love to return.

Sa réputation n’est plus à faire… Elle est à défaire ! Je me garderai bien d’en dire d’avantage. Ce restaurant se saborde. Pour touristes argentés ! Les générations se suivent mais pas toujours avec bonheur !

L'accueil est un peu expéditif. L'insonorisation dans l'hôtel laisse à désirer. Du 1er etage, on entend les bruits des cuisines et le bruit des talons du personnel. La chambre supérieure est spacieuse mais vieillotte et à partager avec les moustiques. La salle d'eau n'est pas accueillante et la douche avec bac en plastique à changer. On est dans les années 80. La carte du restaurant est pleine de promesses, mais les goûts ne suivent pas et du fait, le menu à 46 euros est trop cher. Et surtout, si vous êtes gros mangeurs, passez votre chemin ! Quantité minimaliste. Petits déjeuners correct. C'est la déception.

pour le restaurant, le samedi soir, il est dommage qu'il soit proposé 1 seul Menu à 42 euros ! (entrée plat dessert) et impossible de ne prendre que 2 plats dans le Menu ! Reste bien sur: la Carte avec les entrées à 19 ou 17 euros et les plats à 29 euros !!
Pour les vins : pas de pichets pour une personne seule ! Sinon, bonne qualité du repas.

Sympathique soirée étape sur la route des vacances. Grande chambre avec un grand balcon donnant sur le jardin et le restaurant. Au calme quand il n’y a pas de réception, car la salle n’est pas loin. La cabine de douche n’est pas faite pour les gens corpulents. Dommage. A refaire quand même.

Étape à notre retour de vacances. Hôtel situé au calme dans un petit village. Hôtel un peu vieillot, chambre très grande un peu baroque. L’insonorisation des chambre n’est pas parfaite. Dîner au restaurant en terrasse (il faisait très chaud ce jour là). Dîner très agréable et délicieux. Service souriant et efficace.
