Araluen Motor Lodge

Very well priced, perfect for the family as there’s a great park and beach across the road, cafes , pizza, fish n chips and IGA 100 metres away , and best of all it’s close and far enough from Batemans bay centre.

My stay at the Araluen was much better than expected. It was very clean, everything was in good order and as a woman staying alone i felt safe. I heard no noise, even from the fair right across the road. The pool was lovely and had some privacy, not over looking the road as many do these days. Very good experience overall. Thank you Araluen.

Room was clean and large and I was able to checkin to the room on arrival as the room was ready. Close to the shops and beach. Room had a large fridge as opposed to a bar fridge and little kitchenette. A two setter lounge which was comfortable and a good size table and chairs.

We spent one night on our way down the coast from Sydney to Melbourne. While not the most modern we loved our stay as the room was spacious with a view of the water and perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly. Love supporting a family run business and would recommend a stay to anyone.

Another stay at the Araluen Motor Lodge (it's the only place we stay at, when we go to Batemans Bay). Always friendly nothing is ever a problem, straight opposite the ocean. It always seems like a home away from home. Deb and her staff are awesome and when we leave, we can hardly wait until the next time. Most welcoming place I have ever stayed at. Love love love it.

We loved our stay at the Araluen Motor Lodge. We were given a room on the first floor which had a separate 'kitchen' room with table and chairs and a microwave oven. Everything was light and bright , we had great views and a very spacious bedroom with an enormous TV. We had a lovely verandah and could sit out and take in the views. Parking was easily accessible and we could walk to IGA and bakery.

Room was Clean and very comfortable. Have stayed here before and always have a great experience from making a booking to checking out. I always check here first when I am staying at Batemans bay. This is probably the fifth time we have stayed there.

What an intelligent motel room. Beautifully renovated this motel room has all you need for an enjoyable stay whether it be for a night or a week. Super clean, well appointed, lovely linen, functional kitchen, lots of natural light. You feel right at home the moment you walk in the door. Will happily return.

Beds were clean and comfortable but bathroom and fridge were disgusting. Old molded stuff on the water jug which is your only water supply. Grout so dirty it instant stains the white bathmat. Dirty toilet and surround, cramped bathroom, shower door going opposite way to other, so have to squish in, tv hard to operate but once running Netflix and YouTube providd, even that was creepy- under some random dudes account. Smoking outdoors and some seedier looking patrons. Just rundown. There is an iron and small kettle if you dare but they are inconveniently packed away to discourage use. Near to beach which we liked. Lockable which was good.
