The rooms in the main building are beautiful. A rare view. The restaurant is understaffed and the waiting time for breakfast is too long. If you don't rush, it will take at least an hour. Martin, the concierge, is very good. He helped us find a restaurant because most of the restaurants are closed on weekends. He also drove us there because he was afraid that we didn't know the mountain roads in Bath. The two restaurants he recommended are very delicious and trustworthy.

The waiting area for check-in is very British and beautiful. We booked a classic room, which requires us to walk through the main building, pass the garden, and come to the second floor of a stable. The room is clean and the toilet is relatively large. But the location is a bit disappointing. The high price and high positioning of the hotel make us automatically assume that the view of the room will be particularly good, overlooking the city of Bath. The actual situation is disappointing. Looking out is the street view on the other side, and I dare not open the window. The pure British white old man helps you carry the luggage, making you feel embarrassed not to tip. The restaurant is very delicious, and the cauliflower is especially delicious. In this place, you have to keep communicating and making requests. They can do better.

The room is very unique, the entrance is not big, and there is a different world inside, recommended

Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave. The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted. Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded. The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

My best friend & I recently stayed for 4 nights in a Junior Suite to celebrate our special birthdays on a package that included Afternoon Tea and Full English Breakfasts. Last but not least, at a cost of 4 nights for the price of 3. To cut a long story short, everything was superb. Most people have mentioned the position, history, food, gardens, quality rooms Etc but in all truth it is the wonderful staff that looked after us with such professionalism and friendliness that made this such a memorable stay. It is worth mentioning that 6 years ago I paid for my parents to stay here for their 60th Wedding Anniversary. I can confirm the high standards have been maintained. I can't wait to return.

Visited bath to visit some family and friends but wanted to stay in Royal Cresent. Live and work London and busy, hence we wished to treat ourselves. We were not disappointed. Great hotel, lovely room and wonderful food. We would highly recommend. G Smith
