I would have found this hotel to be just fine at a lower price. When trying to decide between this location and a comparable hotel about half the price, we chose this more expensive downtown location expecting to be on a vibrant street with lots to do within walking distance. But the area was deadly quiet. A school, a football stadium, parking lots, office buildings. On a weekend, all deserted. We still had to get back in the car to drive to the business district to find a place to eat. But I will say the staff was all very friendly, and the hotel itself was clean, but dated.

Hotel was under renovation which was not posted. Entire place smelled of bad curry. Rooms appeared to have been updated but beds were traumatic. Breakfast was, a bag of wonder bread and apple juice. Nothing left by 730am. Stay 7 mins south for the same price.
