Pros: Great environment, excellent location, and spacious rooms. The hotel is right on Batu Ferringhi Beach, and just a short walk to the left along the beach, you'll find restaurants, water sports shops, and convenience stores – all very convenient and well-equipped. We arrived late in the afternoon, and I think we might have gotten an upgrade because the room felt a bit bigger than what we originally booked. Cons: When we checked in, the hotel was hosting a wedding (which, looking at the facilities, seems to be a regular occurrence). Unlike in China, the banquet continued quite late into the night, making it a bit noisy. Also, the hotel itself isn't very large. It's more suitable for staying overnight after exploring and sightseeing during the day, rather than for a resort-style vacation where you spend a lot of time on-site.
